Very expensive. Drinks and meals (except breakfast) prohibitively expensive so people went out. Very quiet bar and never saw anyone in the lounge.

The hotel was beautiful but once you step out of the gates, it is in an area that is very much "Brits abroad" with restaurants competing for the English breakfasts and cheap beer. We went for a week to recover from a couple of years hard work so it didn't bother us we just chilled and enjoyed. One other thing is that the hotel food and drink is extremely expensive. We hardly saw anyone at the pool bar and I think that's why (22.50E for a beer and Mojito and 130E for a 2 course evening meal, 2 bottles of beer and a small bottle of wine) I feel if the prices were more realistic then they would get more custom. Having said that, the food was excellent (although we were still hungry after) So no issue's with the hotel just some constructive comments to help others who travel in the future.

Excellent position on the beach. Lovely surrounding hills and the staff were great and very friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard and the atmosphere was peaceful so great for a lazy stay away.

5 ✰ should be little bit more updated, for example while turning from right side to left the bed was moving, I mean shacking! Overall the place and the system was nice.

Minor: I'd say that SPA area needs more ventilation, it wasn't too bad, but definitely lacks fresh air especially closer to the pool. The bigger jacuzzi had sand in it, which wasn't cleaned for several days, again it wasn't end of the world but we weren't using that one for obvious reasons. What felt a bit off is the room sound isolation, we could hear all the talks and the noise from our neighbours room, but that was quickly sorted and we were moved to a different room.No drinking water in the room and nowhere to refill it in the hotel, you can buy it from the mini bar but the prices weren't reasonable at all.

Great location, probably the best in the town. Breakfast was amazing, decent choice of dishes. Real nice pool area with direct access to the beach. Saunas in the SPA room were great, especially in rainy days. People on reception and the other staff was super helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned regularly and were in a good shape. Even tho we haven't got the sea view the city and garden view from our room were super nice. Hotel style and decorations were on a high level, felt almost like in museum, lots of luxury and quite a few places to calmly sit and enjoy.

If you have mobility issues or require facilities for people with disabilities, this is not for you. Lots of stairs to get in and around the property.

The hotel is perfect in all respects! The location on the beautiful beach, vintage style design, ideal cleanliness, attentive and courteous service, excellent breakfast, fully equipped spa. Really, you can spend an entire vacation without leaving this hotel. We were very impressed, the hotel is highly recommended.

Property is good but one waiter thinks he is a guest, he rather brings you wrong items such you didn’t ask for and thinks that he’s being really funny, but he’s not. Is not professional at all, doesn’t keep the distance. Ruined everything.

Property is beautiful, you fall asleep with the music of the waves. Very nice interior, just my taste.

Nothing to complain about. Room cleaning was very thorough but often a bit later than ideal especially if you wanted a siesta after going to swim.

Excellent location just on the beach but also a with very good pool, great rooms, easy parking, very good breakfast. Very clean and very helpful staff. A really good quality hotel. Not at all cheap but you get quality for your money and we would certainly stay here again.

Rooms very old fashioned. Maintenance not too good. Shower head loose. Air conditioning not working - only a fan which was fine for now but not in mid summer. Room cleaning service erratic. Water in minibar not replaced on several occasions.
