How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The breakfast could be better, more variety of fruits for vegetarians.
Very well located, small but cozy bedroom, fantastic shower, gentle and helpful staff specially one sir I forgot to ask the name, who has helped me to find the proper bus to an attraction, it's only 15 min on foot to train and bus stations. Very silent even being in front of a crowded area.

The reception staff were also very attentive—especially the gentleman who checked me in (pictured in the reception photo). When I was heading out early in the morning, he would kindly check if he could arrange for my room to be cleaned while I was away. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out.

No water or hand soap in the room. Super small, interior-facing room, so like having no window. Should have booked the double room. Tried to upgrade it at the hotel, but it was almost double the cost. And would have had to check out at 12, and check in again at 3. Felt like the hotel could have been more flexible about the price and shifting your room more comfortably.
Modern hotel in a fantastic location. A short walk to the Cathedral, the market and the park. Good breakfast at a great price.

No option for tea/hot water after breakfast (neither in the rooms nor on joint space on 1st floor) View from the rooms (other windows just facing ours in very short distance)

The triple room was small , but ok for a short stay.

We booked a room for 3 people and it was very cramped. Door which was blocked by a bed parented access to thermostat

The facilities are a bit old.
Breakfast and staff are normal. Not bad nor impressive. 15 minutes walk to the train and bus terminal, 10 minutes walkto the cathedral. 5 minutes walk to supermarket.

The entrance was right in front of a bus stop where there were always a ton of people waiting.
Breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. I stayed here for 2 nights following my Camino walk and it was great!

The reception staff were not welcoming, were unhelpful, and never smiled . No tea, coffee , or water in the room, which is not comparable with other hotels charging the same or less tariff.

Having three adults in one room was difficult because there was nowhere to put bags. Some luggage stands would have been nice. At this price point for a hotel, I was surprised there was not an option for laundry on site. This is not the hotel’s fault but just a warning for people who think they will be able to get a taxi to the bus or train station from the hotel- we were told no, that a taxi couldn’t be called. We were too close to the train station so taxis would not be willing to drive us. It was a half mile (and thankfully downhill) which I agree is not far. But considering we had luggage (and had tired legs), it would have been nice to have a taxi option.
The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. We were walking the Camino so it was an easy walk from the church to the hotel.

We got a room on the last floor, had a few of the Cathedral. The room was spacious and airy, the. bed was really comfy and the bathroom was enormous.
