Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBreakfast was limited if you arrived late. The charges for the spa and internal pool was excessive and there was no mention of this anywhere at the time of booking. Dissapointing that there was no tea/ coffee making facilties in the room
Outdoor pool was excellent, size of the rooms was greater than we anticipated. Loved the packed breakfast on one morning when we had to leave early the hotel before the buffet breakfast was served. Staff at the front desk were very helpful

PortugalThis is a mock-up of a 4-star hotel. No bathrobes, no slippers. No toilet brush. Half the showers in the spa don’t work. The key card constantly demagnetizes. The bartender had to be found. The restaurant operates in mysterious, unpredictable shifts. Once upon a time, this was probably a grand hotel in the heart of the Pyrenees. Something clearly went off-script. It’s priced like a 3-star hotel — and if it were called a 3-star hotel, this review would’ve sounded very different.

CanadaHallway lights turn off if no one is detected. This means that you cannot see very far down the hallway. This is not safe. Access to the heated pools was 30€ foy 90 minutes. Too expensive. The breakfast buffet was so-so, with clearly reconstitued and watery eggs. One of the restaurant staff was a bit growly, and there were only 5 occupied tables, with only 2 people each.
Helpful front desk staff. Good beds. Nice views.

United KingdomThe swimming pool and spa are payable extras and they weren't open anyway despite it clearly saying on Booking.com that the pool and spa were open. We were planning to stay in France that night and went out of our way after skiing in Panticosa to go there because we wanted somewhere with a pool. It was a complete waste of time because it's in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing to do.
It's quite a grand resort style hotel. It felt like we were the only people there. It reminded me slightly of The Overlook Hotel 🫣. Rooms are spacious and comfortable as are the common areas. Breakfast was good although I didn't like having to ask for coffee rather than getting my own from a machine. I don't know how they cope when it's busy.

SpainMenu choice was limited, breakfast prices at 15 euros each are what you would expect to pay in London! These need to be reduced to attract more custom. Chargeable underground car park, why?
The setting was very nice, friendly staff, big room. Underground car park.

QatarThe general state of the hotel is old and not well maintained. The entrance of the hotel looks like an abandoned place, dead plants in old pots. The overall vibe is quite gloomy. The staff was not rude but did not make any effort to be pleasant either. Definitely not worth the price we paid.
Nice location with a view on the mountains and 15 minutes from Jaca.

United KingdomNot being allowed to access our room until 4pm despite the fact that it was ready for us when we arrived at 3pm - no food available from the bar - the whole hotel needs a bit of a make-over and fresh lick of paint - fixtures in the bathroom were all loose and in danger of coming away in one's hands. It's just a bit tired.
attractive location - hotel looks impressive - staff were ok and friendly, but little English spoken - nice pool

United StatesOur experience started with a check in at 18:30 we did not get to our room until almost 21:00. The reason for it was a non functioning door lock. The young lady at the counter did her best to work it but at the end she could not do anything, there was no engineer available to fix it. We were then upgraded to the suite (which we had rented for the following night anyways) the suite looked good but the first night the AC (the main reason we us picked the hotel) was not working, when I asked about it they say they know but that was that... The suite is a duplex type apartment with the bedroom under the roof in a mezzanine setup so it was extremely hot. The main job of a hotel is to provide a comfortable night for its clients, the first night was a definite fail. We were traveling as a family, the other feature that made us pick the hotel was the swimming pool but it closes at 20:00 so considering we did not make it to our final room until 21:00, we missed out on that. The manager as a gesture to ease our discontent offered us a two hours "spa access" which is actually the indoor pool in the basement, the kids were happy but I found no real pleasure in it. I was ready to reset my expectation for the next day but I felt that breakfast was a let down for 15€ and after a day exploring around when we came back to the hotel, the same issue with the Air conditioner happened again, this time it got restarted around 23:00. So the room was cool enough around 1am. We went down for breakfast the next morning because it was included in the price of the room, but did not enjoy it much more than the previous day. The hotel probably was really nice 15 years ago but it is desperately in need of updating. The staff was nice but not very helpful, I will not be returning to this property nor would I recommend it to my friends.
The beds were comfortable enough
