The hotel is a bit dated and we had to ask for extra pillows as the single bolster was too flat. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Hotel bar closed at 20.00 which seemed very early when the town is just coming alive at that time.

Great location, decent sized room and we loved the poolside bar. Breakfast was also delicious. Little car park was useful although a bit hairy to negotiate!

I think if people eat in the restaurant (not guests) then they can use the pool. So all the children took over the pool at times screaming and jumping in and throwing balls! We didn’t eat at the hotel as we had an apartment but the restaurant looked very unwelcoming and out dated. The hotel needs the decor updating It took about 30 mins to check us in!! (3 guests)

Good location in the centre of Lanjaron, large comfortable room, the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. There’s a restaurant downstairs that serves a good breakfast choice, there’s a swimming pool & garden.

The place was in the middle of having renevations which we were not warned about, so it was very dusty... definitely looks alot more worn from the photos on the booking site, but still a pleasent stay mainly due to staff and location.

Loved breakfast, great value, moved to nicer sized room after being asked to move rooms, the first one was inland and smelt musty.

The macerator in the bathroom did sound like a Didgeridoo. We thought this was great!

The hotel is a beautiful building. which looks as though it was updated in the 1980’s or 90’s. The grounds are lovely. On arrival, the receptionist was very helpful and although our spoken languages were different he made a great effort and was very kind. Our room was large and comfortable. Double aspect patio doors leading out to a slim wrap around balcony. 2 single beds as well as a small double.beds are very comfortable with lovely clean linen. Spare blankets available. We went for half board included. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly with us. The dining room was packed (Spanish coach trip?). it was frenzied at times. Food was very basic. Dinner- “hash” soup was delicious. My corn battered fish and veg was right out of Farmfoods. Hot and edible. Breakfast was the same scenario. Furious older Spanish people shouting and gesticulating about their churros and coffee. We love people watching and felt sympathy for the waiting staff. Once again they were friendly and kind to us. Lovely Madeira cake, lots of toast, margarine and marmalade, fried eggs and hotdogs. Instant coffee and Libby’s (?) orange. We loved meeting this hotel and Lanjaron. Beautiful town.

There were several big tour groups in the hotel when we stayed. At breakfast the staff were quite stretched at times and the groups seemed to be prioritised which resulted in our having to wait for a long time to be served. However, the staff were lovely and really appreciated the novelty of having a breakfast served at your table rather than a buffet.

There was nothing that we didn't like. For the sake of completeness, the TV only has Spanish channels (but what do you expect in Spain?). The pillows were a bit flimsy but that was easily remedied. Overall we would recommend this hotel and we enjoyed our stay

Great location on the main street close to bars, restaurants and shops. Free secure parking. Very helpful friendly staff. Great value for money. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast arrangement. Rather than a "help yourself " style buffet, the waitresses provided table service. We were invited to choose our food from the menu then everything was served at the table. There was a great choice of hot and cold food and an excellent selection of seasonal fruit. Although its table service you can mix and match any of the food on offer. There was a lovely looking pool area with salt water pool although we didn't use it do to time factors. There's also a nice enclosed garden which would be nice and cool to sit in during hot weather. We also opted for the mountain view room and it was certainly beautiful to sit out on the balcony. Cleaning staff very friendly and thorough and the towels were changed daily.

As mentioned the room and bathroom were dated. But for the price this hotel was more than adequate. The olive green 1980s bathroom suite was a little off putting but hey you get just as clean as if it was a brand new designer suite. To sum up it was excellent value for money 2 star hotel so do not expect luxury this is a budget hotel. Clean and comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of the town. Close to all restaurants and shops. Really nice gardens and swimming pool, with Childrens paddling pool. Breakfast was good with generous portions Although somewhat dated the room and the hotel were clean and tidy. Room serviced every day with clean towels and bed linen.

Noise. Fire alarm going off regularly scared my kids. Noise from the street. If you like sleeping in peace and quiet then don't stay here. The breakfast was so bad I felt sorry for the food

Apart from one young man staff were abrupt and more interested in own conversation than helping guests. Balcony and its furniture were very dirty. Bathroom very old and tired. No safe. No hairdryer but one supplied when requested. Pool ok but very busy as non residents allowed in at a charge. As a result no sunbeds left and charged for them. Pool towels also charged for but we were not told until checking out. Did not try food.

I woke up in the middle of the night to the noise of blinds from other rooms. The breakfast was of poor quality - eggs with a burnt taste. Shower with a broken holder. Wifi not working, not even in restaurant
