We have been traveling throughout the Pyrenees for 1 month on bicycles staying at a different place every night. This hostel has been the best so far. Authentic Spanish Basque experience, warm comfortable property, great food and genuinely kind and friendly staff. This place is a true gem!

A shower over the bathtub might be challenging for arthritic hips.

The warm welcome from the hosts was so wonderful after a challenging walk on the Camino Baztan. The room was very clean and the accommodation was very quiet despite being literally on the main road (no traffic, really and double glazing blocked out everything). The heating was very appreciated and the shower was hot. A lovely stay! Lovely charming guesthouse where the hosts make you feel special.

The room and bathroom were an excellent size and very warm for a chilly evening. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The snack ordered in the evening and breakfast were very good value for money.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The hostal was a stone-built property full of traditional furniture and located in stunning surroundings The bar had a real log fire and we were served a very good home-cooked dinner there. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. An ideal stop over for cyclists and hikers.

The bar/restaurant area would benefit from more comfortable chairs which would result in customers spending more time there. We parked our motorcycles on some hard standing at the rear of the hotel but the access to it is over a very stoney area where you could easily drop your bike. A proper tarmaced access would vastly improve this.

Good location for our particular motorcycle trip.and a good price. Nice basic evening meal but good quality and excellent cold bottled beer.
