I stayed there in December so the heater was on in the room all the time I was there.

Basic but clean and comfortable. Nicely located near Montejaque and Grazelema so great for hiking. The bar downstairs is excellent...Great food and drink at reasonable prices.

This property is an excellent option for anyone wanting a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Located in the countryside and at an altitude which allows for cool nights but warm days our stays here have always been pleasant. The highlight is the pool which is rarely shared with more than a couple of other guests. The hostel has its own cafe with reasonable prices and there are various small towns within a short drive as well as the large tourist destination of Ronda.

Charming. Brilliant location (with large free car park), and so helpful for it to have the attached restaurant. Even so it had a fridge and a kitchenette. The garden and pool area are delightful. We will make this our regular base.

My inability to speak Spanish - I'm working on it.

Although other accommodation types were available I had a basic en-suite room for 2 weeks. It was out of season and I was often the only overnight guest. This was never a problem. Access to my room did not require reception services. Also its role as a Venta meant food and drink were available 7am-late evening. This is precisely the type of accommodation solo travellers exploring the area need. No fuss no frills.

Location excellent, parking excellent, for cars and motorbikes. good food, local dishes, mainly meat dishes, very good food and friendly service. although it was packed full, service was still vey good. Coffee very good. Very basic but very clean.

Room at 55 euro, we got way better either on location and facilities. Bar has good coffee and food at good prices. Far from ronda, about 10 minutes by car. Room small, old furniture, not very comfy.

Despite the heater the room never got warm enough so I was not really comfortable . Also the WiFi was non existent- none of my devices could pick up the networks.

The price was exceptional. It was convenient for the excursion I was attending. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra blankets for the cold

The furniture was a bit dated. Chairs were small. There was air conditioner which we used as a heater before going to bed. In the morning it was chilly to get out of the bed. The pillow on the double bed was a single long pillow. Me being a side sleeper it was not enough. Everything else we can live with but the poor insulation of the walls is not cool. We could hear people talk. Also sounds as if water was running. Glad it was only one night for us.

The room and bathroom was spacious. Overall it was clean.

My room was clearly a smoker room but it was my fault not checking before buying.

It was a nice room with two beds, nice bathroom and kitchenette equipped with everything you need. Restaurant in the same building a big plus considering the location of this place quite far from any city. For me it was great.
