Yolanda was exceptional in her efforts to assist me not just with helping me with information, but in accommodating the delivery and assembly of the bike I had delivered. She and her staff went above standard in welcoming and seeing to this guest's interests.

The room was spacious and we loved the black out shades.

The WiFi was not in range unless you stood by the door.

Difficult as construction was going on. Finally figured out which elevator worked.

Well designed and laid out room, with luggage area, nice big bed, safe, fridge, fan, bathroom was spacious with good pressure shower and hot water. Mattress was really good. Very clean.

The outside part of the building was under renovation so it was a little tricky navigating to the hotel area, but that was the only issue and the hotel was otherwise excellent.

The hostal staff is very kind, and the room was simple but comfortable for a night stay.

There was tons of construction — the elevator was sketchy, making awful noises, and there was building material strewn all over. When the remodel is done, I’m sure it will be spectacular. For now, it feels like we paid a lot for little value. Especially because there was no breakfast option (like many other hostels) because we were checking out on a Monday.

Access to the hostal with luggage in tow was easy with an elevator. Convenient checkin online ahead of arrival and then follow-up at the downstairs cafe to finalize/pick up the keys. Staff will also store a suitcase in cafe/leave it for transport service. The building is secure with key pad entry in addition to the room door lock. The room and private bath were clean, and the shower water was hot, and the bed very comfortable. A hot water kettle and tea bags were greatly appreciated, as well as the working room heaters (it was still cool in April). The value for the room was appropriate, and the location was near the continuation of the camino path, though a 10-min walk from the plaza/city center. A large department store is located on the opposite side of the street. I slept very well at Hostal Roda.

I had reserved a Superior Family Room (sleeps 4) through Bookings but I was provided a simple standard room. Not sure if that was fault of hostal or Bookings. For me, it didn't matter, as I was traveling alone.

The location was perfect for exploring Pamplona

It wasn't clear where you needed to go to check in - it turned out that you had to go to the assovuated cafe next door

Renovations racket was very intrusive. They only told us about the ongoing renovations after the cancellation deadline passed. That felt like cheating to me.

Car parking. - be careful. Do NOT park overnight in the underground carpark opposite. We parked our motorcycle and it cost 38euros. No overnight parking allowed !

Pleasantly surprised by the facilities. Room was clean and tidy and hotel is in a great location. Would recommend if looking for a short stay and good value for money.

Bed slightly uncomfortable but manageable for a short stay.
