When I booked a hostal, I didn't really know what to expect, but it was clean, relatively modern looking from the outside & inside.

Breakfast option, shower head water flow could have been better, & a lift as had to carry suitcases up stairs

It’s great for what you pay! And the housekeeping comes daily. Highly recommend!

The hotel is about 10 min from San Antonio (walking). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean. Hotel doesn't have parking but there is one for free not too far from the hotel. There is a shower you can use if you have a late flight, it's was a big room and very clean towels were provided too. Reception looks very nice but when you get to your room you can see the difference. I know Ibiza is very overpriced and August the prizes are crazy I found the hostel very expensive for what we get. But this is Ibiza.

There is no lift in the hotel, there is just two floors so is not a big deal but if you have a heavy suitcase you will have to carry all the way up. Rooms are very basic, we didn't need much as we just use the hotel for sleep and shower. Room needs a good update, wardrobe was very old but good size there is no fridge in the room I was a bit disappointed. Bathroom is small and shower curtain instead of glass.

Convenient location - about 8 mins walk from the bus station, and relatively close to the beach front. There were also hangers in the room that we could use. Basic amenities provided.

The night watchman was incredibly impolite and aggressive and in my opinion bordering on being a misogynest. My daughters stayed in the hotel and were verbally abused for asking for assistance in getting the air conditioner and lights to work. The hotel explained that specific conditions need to be in place for the air conditioner to work, including windows tightly shut - but in truth the lights and air conditioner worked intermittently and at times didn't work at all even after all attempts to follow instructions. Nevertheless, this did not warrant the aggresive screaming and shouting in the lobby and frantic gesticulation of hands 10cm away from their faces when they asked for assistance. My daughters were very afraid. His behaviour was very threateneing. They had the most uncomfortable 2 days stay in the hotel imaginable and we had no choice but to terminate the booking early and move to another hotel. A package arrived (official governmert ID card) at this hotel 1 or 2 days after departure. My daughters went to pick up this package in the evening and unfortunately encountered the same ill-tempered bully in the lobby. This person confirmed he had the package but refused to give them the package saying it was not in his job description to do so, whilst taunting them. Incredible, very nasty behaviour - they had to return the following morning to pick up the package when a different staff member was on duty. I was shocked when I saw video footage of these encounters. When I complained,the hotel made an excuse that my daughters must have been at fault. This hotel seems to have forgotten that a guest needs to be treated politely and with respect and that bullying of 2 young girls by an aggressive male adult is unaccaptable. Instead I was charged a penalty night's stay for having cancelled early. Quite disgusting actually.

I can only say great things about Hostal Residencia Nicolau. The staff was extremely kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They also lent us a beach umbrella for free for the entire length of our stay, and on the last day they let us take a shower after check out, as we went to the beach since we had a late flight in the evening. They have a shower on the ground floor and they can provide you with clean towels and let you use it for free. The room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend it!

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. By far the best customer service I have ever experienced. I would come back here based on that alone. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning is a god send in the July heat.

There was not one aspect of this hotel I didn't like, great location, great staff and great price.

Great air conditioning, with powerful fan feature to help you recover from the unreal heat of Ibiza. Very clean bath with shower head. Spacious. Very clean. Café located directly opposite, which is good because this hotel doesn't serve brekkie.

Two single beds — surely they know that some of us travel alone.

The staff was amazing, really friendly and organized. Service was available all the time. Rooms were regularly cleaned and they took care of everything. There was an Illy coffee machine in the lobby, which was convenient for grabbing a coffee at any time for a good price. Right next to the building was also a street parking for cars and scooters. The city center was 10 minutes walking distance. Just behind the corner was a small market and for about 5 minutes walking a big Mercadona market.

Although everything was amazing we were kind of missing a kettle in the room. But that's just a little extra.

Fantastic location, and excellent value for money, Ibiza hotels can be very overpriced, but this hotel is great value for money which is why i have returned 3 times. Staff very friendly, hotel very clean, location close to beach, shops, pool, bus station.

a double bed would have been a good option

Classic trap house, if you want to stay only for the night, it's calm and the price is not high, but I couldn't imagine staying there for a longer time.

tight, towell stinks, classic old school soap, cheapest facilities

Nice big room with a balcony. I was concerned about noise from clubbers but the staff knocked on doors to ask noisy guests to be quiet. Good location.
