I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Loved the complementary breakfast.

Everything! The swimming pool was great, the room was good and had a lovely terrace, they offered complementary breakfast (which was a lovely surprise) and the hostel was 2 minutes away from the beach. We will 100% return.

The yoghurt on the breakfast table is not cold.

We liked the cleanliness, the location and the friendliness of the employees. We got good recomendations on where to go on our way out of Cabo de Gata. Fresh fruit and good cake for breakfast.

The hotel was very clean. They clean the room everyday, even when we hanged the "Do not disturb" sign by the door. They were very helpful with recommendations in Cabo de gata. The neighborhood is peaceful yet still close to restaurants and grocery stores. We also like that the hotel is close to the beach and other beaches and hiking areas.🙂

The only thing is that the shower curtains in the bathroom could be replaced with a screen. Only our personal preference.

Property was located in a good position about 100m from the beach. Free parking outside the property. Nice pool area and downstairs breakfast area which was included in the price. Basic rooms with terrace but spotlessly clean. Friendly staff.

Within (short) walking distance to beach and restaurants. Excellent breakfasts were provided. This is family owned, the staff is the family who were very nice and accommodating. The room was small but had a small terrace which was wonderful. There is a swimming pool on the premises and outdoor places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. There is a nice garden with well kept and labeled plants surrounding the property. The whole place was clean and very homey.

I am struggling to think of things that I didn't like.

Lovely accomodation in a peaceful location, not far from a supermarket (for those important snacks) and also a short walk from the main beach. The double rooms have a reasonable amount of space and a useable balcony overlooking a botanical garden. A working fridge is always great Excellent. Had a kind invitation to use their continental breakfast area in the morning. I didn't get the chance to have a splash in the pool outside, but it looked good. I did get a chance to try out a nearby curry house venue just up the road. Overall, a budget location run by lovely people. Less than 5 minutes walk from the Autocares Bernardo coach stop, from Almeria.

Nothing to dislike

It was our second time staying and just as before all was perfect. It is ideally located within San José. All staff helpful and friendly. With breakfast included. It is definately where we will stay next we visit.

Aircon heater a bit noisy.

Small, clean, well run hotel located in a quiet side street a few hundred metres from the coast and centre of town. Comfortable room with a nice patio overlooking the owner's well maintained and interesting garden. Easy street parking right outside hotel. Fairly basic continental DIY breakfast included in price.

Lovely little hotel, super clean, complimentary continental breakfast was excellent with everything you'd need to start the day. Super comfortable room/bed. Location 5 min walk to beach and bars/restaurants. Great to have pool area for days when overcast and lots of waves at beach.

Fantastic stay. Quiet street and area 7 min walk to beach and bars etc. Nice simple breakfast. Hostel was quiet on our stay and the pool all to our selves for the afternoon and the following morning. Just perfect !

We received a warm welcome. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The.pool area was great and the pool itself perfect for a dip after hot days exploring. Simple breakfast was provided even though no breakfast was advertised in the booking.

Truly nothing. If I had to nitpick for something negative, the only thing that comes to mind is the bulky key lanyard (which you can obviously remove)

This hostel is an incredible find. Guests are warmly welcomed by Joaquin (hopefully I didn't butcher his name). The hostel feels super inviting right from the start. Located on a dead-end street with free public parking nearby, it's incredibly convenient. Rooms and the terrace are both surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. Everything is sparkling clean too. The whole place has this cool maritime theme, like a big ship, which is quite charming. Location-wise, it can't be beat. Super close to all the amazing beaches but also shopping, dining and bar-hopping in the area. To top it off, they even have a delicious little breakfast with good coffee and fresh juices, even though it wasn't advertised anywhere. Considering the price, location, and overall experience, this place deserves a perfect 10/10. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay in San José.

Great location! We initially booked 2 nights, but we liked the Hostal and the area so much, that we extended our stay with one night.

Not a big deal but to improve, the hotel could benefit from providing higher quality bath products (soap shower gel and shampoo) as well as consider more modern decoration.

Room is big, clean and comfortable. There is a small balcony. Hotel facilities are great with several outdoor terrasses, nice to take breakfast in the morning. location is convenient.
