Perfect central location but quiet place. Grear for a short stay in Madrid, close to the Gran Via and Tribunal metro station, so ideal for shopping and easy for connecting from Atocha train station and to the airport. The rooms are small and basic but comfy and clean and for this price - it’s a great value for money. Very helpful staff.

I think a central place with a water kettle and a fridge would make the whole stay so much more comfortable.

Fantastic location, near many bus stops and the metro, and all the shops. 24/7 reception. I appreciate how helpful they were with storing my luggage after check out. It’s a fuss free place. And even though it’s an old property that looks dated, they keep it clean

Very small room and also the air conditioner worked great but leaked a lot of water on the floor.

The double room was spacious with a good sized wardrobe and drawers. I found the bed very comfortable especially the pillows and got a good nights sleep. As the room overlooked a courtyard it was quiet. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful especially the lady at the evening reception who opened the door and provided helpful information for travelling around Madrid. The property is very close to the Gran Via with easy access to the buses and metro. I was very happy with my stay at this Hostal.

The rooms are very simple but for someone who comes for one night (like me) or for someone who comes to explore Madrid all day, it is worth the price. In my opinion, the price for this hostel should not be more than 80 euros per night. There is some noise from outside, from the neighbors and from the hallway, so those who suffer from noise should take this into account. It is like a simple and clean 2-star hotel.

Great location and very clean!

No breakfast included but lots of nearby cafes so it was not a big issue.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for suggestions on food etc

Room was really old fashioned more than expected and actually finding the place initially was harder than I expected

The hostel is in the heart of the city. Small and simple, but it satisfies basic needs. Indeed, I felt it quite comfortable for the good practical solutions of the furniture.

The location is great, but everything else was pretty disappointing. The walls are super thin — I could hear so much noise, especially in the middle of the night from the neighbors next door and upstairs. Also, there wasn’t any kitchen to use, which was a letdown.
