Had a wonderful 9 night stay at this gorgeous hostal. It was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The roof terrace is really spacious and plenty of shaded areas to take a break from the sun and a fridge to keep drinks cold. The location is perfect and we would definitely recommend and hope to be back. Tanya and the cleaning staff were lovely and very helpful during our stay.

Noisy when others guests are Not careful

Great location for getting to the beaches and to Balcón de Europe. The roof terrace was an ideal spot for a chill evening and Tanya was a fantastic hostess and had thought of everything 🥰

Going home as everything was perfect

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Plaza Cantarero. Tanya was there to meet us on arrival and was able to direct us to local car parks which were free. She even carried up my heavy suitcase while my partner parked the car. We were delighted with our room which had everything that we would need for our stay, with some nice little touches. The roof terrace is beautiful with comfy chairs and potted plants, and at night the ambient lighting is lovely, the views from here were breathtaking. The room had air conditioning which we used a few times mostly in the late evening before going to bed as we found the room nice and cool with the balcony window, which we had open most of the time. We felt so relaxed and slept well as the bed was so comfortable. Tanya recommended some places to eat in Nerja which we took up those recommended and they did not disappoint. We are planning to go back and stay here again next year which is something we don't normally do as we like to try different places, but it felt like a home from home and we can't wait to go back.

Room was a little small and dark due to being an interior facing room but that was our fault for booking late. Other rooms were much larger and some had good views. Worth booking early to secure one of these.

Beautiful decor, quiet location yet convenient to bus station and only short walk to town . 15 mins walk to beaches.Bed was exceptionally comfy and air con was great. Host Tanya was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Nice toiletries were provided along with slippers and a hairdryer. The roof terrace was fantastic.

Nothing I could complain about...

Attention to detail ....coffee facilities...beautiful terrace with a fridge...we had a balcony which was lovely and quiet even though close to the bus stop...very convenient

Parking was hard to find close by. We arrived on a sunny Sunday however, and the beaches were busy, so may be easier on a different day.

The Hostal is in an easy walking location to the center and beaches. It has a great roof top deck, the rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a great stay. I would come back and stay again as the owner provided a gracious welcome.

The hotel is beautiful, lots of original and artistic details. The bedroom was spotless and very comfortable bed with gorgeous bedding. The roof terrace is an absolute plus. Tanya provides a picnic set to use up there if you would like to. There is a fridge and wine opener too. It has sun loungers and various seating areas where we sat and enjoyed the early evening views. We will be back again!

Absolutely nothing!

I would rate more than 10 if I could! Tanya is the most wonderful host, very caring and her hostal is so beautiful! I loved the room (she provides a kettle + coffee, tea), the shower but also the huge terrace with shower, fridge, the loungers.. and it' really very centrally located and very near the bus station if you come from Malaga.

What a beautiful boutique hotel in an excellent location for a visit to Nerja! The staff and facilities were exceptional and the roof terrace was a beautiful addition to my solo break. I felt very at home here and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone! Thank you 😊 ❤️

We were surprised by the payment system through a wristband and preferred to pay for each drink with our credit card. We would prefer to be able to pay by cash, but got used to it very quickly

The hotel itself is beautiful. Furnished with stylish sofas, chairs and tables. The decorations are very elegant and plush. The bar area is very attractive. We stayed in the hotel bar and lounge each evening. The price of drinks were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. We stayed half board and the food available exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the variety of tapas available at the buffet, plus meat, fish and fresh salads etc

*I would put a sensor light in the hallway instead of the normal light switch (yes I know so minor) *I would put a small shelf in the shower so individuals could store their own toiletries. (yes I know once again so minor)

*Location - close to everything that you would need *Staff - very friendly *Value for money for the size of the room *The room does has everything you would need. *Good quality *Bathroom - good water pressure *Size of the room fine - I was in a room at the front and I had the balcony door open and there was a little noise sometimes because of it. With the balcony door closed no problems.

Nothing to complain about If there is one thing to.improve ...maybe the drawers in our room could do with their runners greasing so as not to disturb others when opening or closing, but such a small thing...otherwise perfect! Thanks Tanya.

Beautiful little hotel ( it's far too good to call it a hostal) in an excellent location. The design touches are stunning and the roof terrace with a fridge, microwave, shower, clothes dryer hanger and WC is wonderfully beautiful with 2 sofa areas and 2 lots of sun loungers meaning space for privacy for at least 2 families ( and it was usually empty whilst we were there.) Nice to have the room cleaned and bed made every single day, even when we were late getting up and thought we'd missed the slot. Also stunning square and mountain View from our room which we'll miss. We'd love to return!

Nothing the lovely hosts can do anything about. The room next to ours had a very active couple in it which kind of disturbed any sleep we hoped to get on our second night of three.

I like to stay in authentic properties and this absolutely was. Great thought put into the design and lovely rooftop area. You are given a basket in your bedroom with plates glasses etc so if you want to buy a picnic and drinks you can easily eat up there or just chill in one of the several comfortable areas. The welcome we received and the information and restaurant recommendations were excellent. Warm and friendly.

We had the room with the kitchen (Capricho) and it was very nice and quiet! The roof terrace is amazing. The hotel is in a nice area, just outside the busy center and close to the bus station. The host, Tanya, is very friendly and helpful. She gave us tips for restaurants and arranged an airport taxi.
