How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Can't think of anything.
Really friendly hotel. I distinguished myself by making a mess of checking in but the man I spoke with/exchanged WhatsApps was very patient. It was a lovely surprise that I had a balcony. Very well situated for the beach and the town.

The only thing was other people where banging doors late at night and do not have any respect for others
The location was great just round the corner to the beach and also all the bars and restaurents, the staff was great anything you needed you just had to ask for. The rooms was cleaned every day .

Very central, its on top of a cafe and has a lift. The cafe is closed on Sundays and theres no room cleaning that day, but that was made clear at booking. They were also very helpful to me as unfortunately I had to go to the hospital on that Sunday , they helped me get there. I would fully recommend the place for the price.

There was nothing about the property we didn’t like, The only thing that I would say the rooms needed is a fridge especially if you are there In The summer months.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed and it was lovely and clean staff were great very friendly.

The location is perfect for everything this town has to offer. The Hotel is basic but had everything we needed for a 1 week stay to see Ibiza, Santa Eulalia is our favourite resort after seeing others on the island. We were on the second floor with no noise from the bars in the oad below. We did face the back of the property and the balcony was small but sufficient. We will certainly visit again at some point but will request a room facing the front. I didn't get his name, even though we communicated many times!!, but the man who runs this hotel is so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and all was very relaxed....even when I thought I lost my key...but then found it in another bag!! All in all a great time.

Nothing not to like really , our only concern was that the mattresses were a bit unsupportive but it really was a very minor detail.

Rooms were quote noisy at night. Could do with door closers to stop them banging. Also a little fridge would have been great.

Nothing at all.
The property is in a great location close to bars, restaurants and beaches. The room was very clean. We had a room at the back of the property and found it quiet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room staff did a great job. The cafeteria downstairs is very good too. I would really recommend this hotel. We used it as a base for touring the island.

Hostal Mayol is a great choice if you are looking for a central stay, really well connected. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Situated in the centre of town, spotlessly clean rooms, a friendly and helpful welcome all made for a terrific trip. With great value for money I would highly recommend Hostal Mayol.

only thing missing is a refrigerator but all very good the rest.
Great location, on the main square in Santa Eularia. 1 min from the boulevard. rooms comfortable and enough space. balcony overlooking a little shopping street, nice to have breakfast on the balcony in the sun. Check in was easy and went smooth, very friendly staff at the reception.

Wierd maintenance window in bathroom allowing shared noise between bathroom. But understandable as a need to fix any issues. Noises were minimal cant really complain

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but if you intend to stay longer than a few days keep in mind there is no kitchen equipment in the room.
