We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesBeing on the top floor, roof right outside my balcony it was extremely hot. Can’t leave the doors open in middle of the day because the sun hits directly on the room. They need to provide a fan during the summer time. Sweated all night.
Very convenient to the bus stop and loved the balcony to sit in the early morning and evening after the sun starts to set. Nice view of the port and waterway.

CanadaMy room has no view, and it was very hot. It was also a very loud location. People outside loud until very late. Seagulls on building in front loud from very early. Of course , these are not under the control of the hotel, but I didn't get much sleep.
Great location. Staff in restaurant were friendly and helpful. Food was fine and best if all it was airconditioned so I could finally cool down!

AustraliaThere really was no downside - the accommodation was good value for money and exceeded expectations at that price point. I’d stay again if I was in the area.
The room was spacious, clean and had views of the harbour and sea. The bathroom was newly renovated and had great water pressure to enjoy a nice hot shower or bath. The windows were large and opened to allow lots of fresh sea air.
