I liked everything about my stay.

Lovely friendly hotel in a small town full of history. Everything I needed for my stay was available. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller, I just needed a single room. This had a very comfortable single bed, and the room had an ensuite. The room was serviced each day. Breakfast had a lot of variety, an excellent selection of fruit, meats and cheese. The lovely garden was a great bonus for relaxing in shade when it was very hot. A quick train ride into Girona meant I had the best of both worlds.

Lovely little hostel, off the beaten track of Girona and Barcellona. Easy to reach by bus and train. Lovely staff, and greeting on arrival. More than adequate breakfast. Tea and coffee facilities would have made this stay a 5* - I forgot to pack my portable coffee machine

It would have been nice to have some soap in the bathroom (maybe it was just forgotten by the cleaning staff). Starting the breakfast only at 8:30 was a bit too late for me. The room can be decorated a bit better and the empty spaces filled with something, in order to create a more cozy atmosphere.

Very good location, a few steps away from all the important points of the town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room.

The hostel was really neat and comfortable. The staff that attended to me were also quite friendly. I wished that I had stayed there for longer, but I had to leave quite early.

They were running a diesel generator when I got there and the whole hotel and courtyard was filled with fumes and it was super noisy . They said it was for security .. I suggest they run the exhaust pipe out of the main courtyard or at least direct it to the side .. extremely uncomfortable and my breathing was definitely affected and the hotel smelled like a truck stop . They seemed very annoyed when I questioned them about it ..

If a car is parked on the road outside the entrance to the car parking area, a large car will have trouble getting in and out. hard to find any food shops nearby. This is a back street hostel so google map search it first to locate it.

Nice hostel in quiet backstreet. Staff attentive and friendly. Room clean and spacious with view over rear courtyard garden. Free parking on site. Close and convenient tor Girona airport.

I don't have much to say because I stayed just a night. But, maybe breakfast should have some facilities like kettle, toaster etc .. but I understand it is another country where probably isn't usual to have those things.

Fabrellas is a lovely place to stay. After having some adventurous days in Barcelona, it was nice to visit the town Caldes de Malavella. Also, a good location and fabulous customer service. I really like everything in this place, miraculously clean, so peaceful to sleep. Nice to have a good rest. I love the style of the place and how everything is very good maintained.

The rooms were small, but very comfortable and clean and that is all that matters, the property felt in a safe location with the outside doors locking at 11pm until the next morning each night.

It would have been nice if the restaurant was open in the evenings, but we were out of season so probably not enough visitors to the town.

Can't think of anything bad. It is what it is; a place to rest up a bit, not a luxury hotel.

Came here in 1989, backpacking as a teenager. Back again. Was a welcome sanctuary of rest back then, been the same now. The town is nice too. Cafe Rosa, just round the corner: great hosts, fresh meals made while you wait.

I would prefer if they made it perfectly clear that the parking entrance belongs to the hostal.

Excellent location in the middle of the historic, medieval town. Having private parking at no extra price is a big plus. The old town consists of narrow one way streets with mostly no possibility to park. Yes, the room is very basic but that is known at the time of booking. It was quiet clean. What I like best about it is the courtyard where you can relax in a nice atmosphere, under the trees and can eat breakfast there. I’m not sure the breakfast is worth the money as it’s mostly bread and baked things. See the pic.

It's a little hard to find and you have to walk with your luggage from any parking you can find.

Family room for 3 was quite tight. Mattresses are thin and not very comfortable Breakfast fares basic for the price...

This is a very convenient hostal, set in the historical part of Caldes - Roman ruins at walking distance provides a nice stroll in the evening- Lovely patio a the back of the property where you can safely park your car for free. Dog friendly. Lovely helpful receptionist. Friendly restaurant nearby with hearthy Spanish fares at excellent prices.
