Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainThe check-in is made in the bar/restaurant downstairs and since it was busy when we arrived the man who was in charge of it was was not very nice with us. But well, this might happen nowadays and afterwards our stay was convenient and nice.
Definitely the location in the very city center, and also the quality of the room was suitable.

United KingdomThe woman next door had a dog that barked a lot including at 4 in the morning. We didn't like being woken up by a pet. Everything else was great.
Easy check in and convenient location with a supermarket open on a Sunday at the end of the street (very unusual in Spain!). Wifi was good.

United KingdomGreat location inside the walls of Avila. The rooms are a bit basic but had everything we needed. The one thing they don't have is air conditioning, and it was a bit hot. Overall, a good value for money place to stay.

United KingdomAs there was nobody on the reception desk in the hotel itself, I had to check in at the bar of the attached bar-restaurant, which was not ideal, since I had to carry my luggage through a busy bar.
This hotel was good value for money given how centrally located it was, just of the Mercado Chico square in central Ávila. The room was comfy, with an en-suite bathroom.
