WE LOVED EVERYTHING! The hosts truely felt like our Spanish mum and dad. From the stunning room and 100/10 location, to the hospitality and daily homemade breaky. The room was exactly what we needed for 2 people. Could not have asked for a better experience for our first time in Peniscola!

Cannot think of anything!

The location is wonderful, in the walled old town with incredible views. Antoni and Alicia met us in the parking lot in the harbor at the bottom and drove us and our luggage in their car to the hostal. They have done a phenomenal job renovating the place a d decorating it very tastefully. Bed was super comfortable, nice bathroom with true rain shower and delicious breakfast, freshly prepared by our hosts, who were so hospitable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing. It’s perfect.

It is a treasure! It is absolutely breathtaking, just like the views. The location is very convenient, a few steps away from the beach and main parking. Alicia, Augustin and Isabel are adorable, and they work very hard to maintain the property. Their hospitality goes above and beyond. Oh, and Alicia is a great cook! I will definitely be back.

Nothing negative about the location!!! I just assume that in summertime the village will be overcrowded by tourists.

It´s a wonderful location with a breathtaking view located at the border of the old city center. The staff is very friendly and responsiveness to any question in a fast and efficient way. Additionally they are always available to help. The room is perfect and the sea view from the room great. The breakfast is amazing

We received a welcome as if we were part of the family. The breakfast was excellent and more than you could eat. The view from our room over Peniscola was something to die for!! The free parking was unexpected but very welcome.

If the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast but sadly the rain didn’t relent!

Hostal Olvido 22 is in the perfect location in Peniscola, with stunning views and easy access to the castle walls, grounds and old streets as well as the shops and beaches if you want them. Everything has been so well thought out inside, with such care and attention. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable we have had in Spain and Alicia, Augustin and Isabella could not have been more welcoming. We loved everything about it 😀

There is nothing negative

It was a fantastic stay. The hosts Alicia, her husband and daughter were very nice and accommodating. The homemade breakfast was great. Even a problem with the shower door was quickly fixed. We were given good tips for restaurants nearby. The impressive fortress was within walking distance. We were able to park our motorcycles safely in a garage outside the old town and were picked up there with our luggage and driven back at the end of our stay.

The room was a bit small and they had a fiesta outside which went well on into the night.

Warm, welcoming hosts. Lovely fresh breakfasts with a view over the sea. A room with a balcony and a view of the sea. Fresh fruit and water available all day. Comfy bed.

Absolutely beautiful with beautiful hosts, the property is clean, comfortable and historic. The hosts are so friendly welcoming and accommodating. It’s in a stunning location with fabulous views and the bed was so comfortable. The shower was amazing and the breakfast we were served was absolutely delicious. Love it here. Would highly recommend.

Would have appreciated a fridge in the room but realise space doesn’t permit that. Could have done with a wider choice of breakfast products.

The rooms are a bit tight if you have a lot of luggage. There was a miscommunication about the arrival, but in the end everything went well :-)

This place is a gem. The owners are amazing and do everything to make you feel "like home" in the most welcoming way. Especially Alicia is an angel on Earth. She is the heart and a soul of this beautiful place and makes sure your stay is perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated with small balconies. The views from the rooms are amazing and the location in the old town is perfect. Homemade breakfast with Tortilla Española and fresh orange juice made from oranges from their garden is so good and served with pride and smile. First we stayed here for two nights and after a few days came back to Peñíscola just to stay at this place again! Thank you! We will come back! Mia and Jari

Usually I don’t write reviews, but this one needs to be recognized as a 10/10. The care and breakfast provided by the hosts exceeds every other hotel or hostel I have visited before. The location in Peñiscola is perfect, and the town itself is so beautiful. We visited the town in december, and it was fully lit up by christmas decorations. The rooms have a stunning view at the old city wall, and the beach. The breakfast was so delicious, especially the coffee and the homemade omelet were exceptional. The last morning it was my girlfriend’s birthday, the hosts prepared Mimosa with their own freshly squeezed oranges. They even brought us back to the train station by car because the bus didn’t connect to our train. Would recommend this place to everyone!!!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike or find disagreeable.

What a discovery. This is a little jewel of a hotel, and my wife and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere small, quiet, comfortable and beautifully managed by the relaxed and friendly owners - who did everything to make us at home. Cars are not allowed in this old part of the exquisite town ramparts, but we were able to park our motorcycle safely opposite and found the quiet location and short walk to the beach ideal. Plenty of choice to eat nearby. We will try and return one day.
