Shower head wall attachment was broken resulting in the shower head flying upwards and covering the entire bathroom in water.

The property is under renovation so you are going through a bit of a building site. This wasn't highlighted and they work Saturdays. I didn't let it affect my stay, especially as I was out and about most of the time and it's economical. It's just nice for people to be informed.

Soap dispenser at wash basin broke apart when touched, soap dispenser in shower was jammed.

It’s under renovation so that part was weird. I was placed in a different building but this building was just empty — now, I’m a good traveler so I don’t have questions, but if I did, there was no one to ask a thing to. It all feels anonymous and transactional and soulless. Also… the exterior door would not latch so the building was insecure. But the codes were convenient.

Listen, I clicked big smiley face for the question about how were the people because I only met one. And she clearly tried hard to be excellent. She was helpful and nice and explained all the digital key codes clearly. So, she was what I liked.

9 June 2025 - it was a big surprise to see construction going on upon arrival. However, the owner came quickly & lead me across the way to a clean, modern room. Not sure how long the remodel will last. I'd suggest contacting the owner before booking.

Well Bearan rooms is currently a building site. !! Unfortunately nobody thought to tell us even though I booked it months ago. When we arrived at the property we found it closed with no information other than a notice in Spanish and a phone number that didn't answer when I rang it. The door opened when I pushed it but there were no lights on inside. We had no option but to ask in nearby businesses until eventually we found a young barman who told us the property was open and operational. He was able to contact someone who told us the code and how to gain access. This young lad from a different business was the one who brought us in and up three flights to our room. It was incredible and this is how we accessed our room for three days stepping through a building site. It was quite dangerous, an accident waiting to happen really. I met someone in the office maybe twice during our stay and her comment was simply she didn't know why we weren't told. There was no problem with the room when we eventually got in and it was quite comfortable and spotlessly clean. Though all this did not ruin our holiday it is quite unacceptable that we were not informed of the situation before arrival.

I had booked a courtyard view room and was placed into the room overlooking the bars. Wasn’t too noisy and I was okay with that noise. What ruined it was the neighbours tv being on loud from midnight til six am when I got up and left. I understand that’s not the hostels fault but I could have been placed in the room I’d been booked. The cleaner used so much bleach I couldn’t be in my room for a few hours so I left with the windows wide open to ease the smell.

The building next to the hotel is being renovated and it's very noticeable in the hotel. The elevator is out of service and the walls between the 2 buildings are only plastic sheets. That said, we didn't hear much of the renovations. Maybe because we were on the top floor and the work was done on the ground floor? In any case, don't expect too much from this hotel. It is very basic and could use some TLC. But it's clean, the personnel is friendly and the location is perfect.

Room was small, but we managed to find areas to put our luggage so we didn't have to step over it. Being early risers, it didn't have a hot water picture for coffee and the earliest we could buy coffee was 8:00am.

Being under renovation there were some quirks but nothing that kept us from sleeping safe and soundly.

Staff is exceptional and very helpful! The place is under a major renovation and has no lift, something to be aware of when booking if you have heavy or a lot of luggage.
