Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Had to be taken from reception a few minutes away. The layout of the accommodation was very confusing, it wasn’t explained that it’s split in 2. Quite a walk from town

Mattress though good felt a bit tilted or uneven
Very nice new decor, clean and convenient location for the University of Navarre. It was warm too on a very cold night. Staff were very nice.

The room was rather small.
The staff was friendly and gave good information at check in. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a small patio space. There are a few bars/cafes nearby and a park across the street. We were able to walk everywhere, but if you prefer, the bus was convenient.

- this is not a complaint, more FYI. There was no air on, the window of the room we’ve stayed in has no net for bugs. We’ve ended up open windows with shutter closed with a bit of airflow. We had to turn on the fan just to get the air in the room circulated a bit
- parking is public parking, 3.20 euro per day. - it’s in the middle of residential area, but a few nice restaurants and bars within 2-3 streets away. No need to walk all the way to old town. Which is abt 20-30min walk

The room size was a little tight for us and needs more soundproofing. We could hear other guests talking and coming in at 4:00 in the morning.
Property was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. Our room had a nice little terrace outside. There was a kitchen we could use with a large fridge. Location was next to a beautiful park.

it was an exceptionally hot night and like many places no air conditioning so you need to expect a warm night

The bathroom shower needs to be cleaned better, it had a lot of black around the edges. Walls are paper thin, noisy. Also, it's hard to find the actual room as a down road, and through a series of doors.

The room was spotlessly clean, the beds crisp and white The bathroom was big and the shower great.We managed to park right outside the building and it was only €4;for 24 hours.

The room was super basic, and the bathroom was old and required deep, clean mould on tiles and round the toilet. Shower blocked and overflowing. Not what you would expect for the price. Also main room light did not work.

Walls are thin, so you get a little noise if next room has loud guests. This is no different to all other budget hotels
A good size room with a decent bathroom and very helpful staff at reception. Close to the lovely Japanese Park, and on-street parking all around (that needs coins or an App - no card or notes). Excellent value.

The staff was not really helpful, the address on booking does not meet the place where the room was, and the guy just pointed directions, when you're new to the city, not very helpful. To go into the city you have to take the bus or a very long walk.
