The location of Harrigain is so special. It is a wonderful place to stay. We didn't have a car. My two teenage sons and I easily walked to the bus stop to travel into San Sebastian. And coming back to this beautiful spot was a wonderful way to end the busy days.

It would have been useful to have been offered (for a charge even) a small welcome pack; tea, coffee, milk, bread etc. as there didn't not appear to be a supermarket in the nearby vicinity. That said we would ensure that we had some basic supplies ourselves should we return (and we probably shall) to Harrigain in the future. An information pack detailing such things as local bars, restaurant, nearest shop would also have been ideal.

The property is situation high up on the hillside, which affords it excellent views towards the Bay of Biscay. My wife and I were travelling from England to the south of Spain and required a stopover just south of the French border. Harrigain suited our purposes perfectly, albeit a little off the beaten track. There is outside seating and although we did attempt to enjoy a glass of wine outside in the fading daylight, we arrived a little too late to really appreciate the setting. Had we stayed longer then we would probably have spent more time making use of the outside area.

Our stay at Harrigain was lovely! The owners are very responsive and generous. We were treated with a gift of cider and tomatoes from the farm ☺️ Plus, the location is beautiful overlooking the Bay of Bisque. We really loved this place ❤️

There are the necessities of the apartment and if you need anything, the host is there to help and provide it, but maybe the only thing would be additional useful everyday things, like paper towels or tea. But it's just me being nit-picking

Let's start with the view. It was breathtaking. And the house is very comfortable. Even though a few families were staying there, you could enjoy full privacy and comfort. Great communication with a host and best neighbourhood of donkeys, hens, cats and lovely goofy dog 🐶

Beautiful setting. Super comfortable apartment- spacious & the views are spectacular! We loved being neighbors with the donkeys & chickens. We were grateful that our dogs were welcome. The loved their walks around the property. We hope to return to spend more time in the area. We had an incredible dinner at an unassuming bar/restaurant just down the road. VERY good. We loved Harrigains!

Amazing views & really great host. We were traveling with a dog and this just the place to stay. There is a restaurant on a short distance & shop. Lots of privacy but still very close to center.

Even though we do not expect more than it was, however, due to a price of almost 200 € per night, you still want a bit more fancy interior. But there are two separate bedrooms so not much to complain :)

Only a few things. Hot water was difficult. The kitchen area is great but a few more utensils would help those who like to cook 🙂. Sometimes the noise from the next apartment was really loud...soundproofing?

This is such a beautiful place..we booked for 3 days and stayed another 2. The views are so mesmerising. It's so convenient to Sans Sebastion too. Our little dog loved the freedom and the other animals on the farm around.

Quiet location. Great view of the sea. 10 min drive to beach at San Sebastián. Welcoming and thoughtful host. The apartment I rented (in the property photos it’s the one with green in the kitchen) was very private and comfortable, with a sea view from the living room.

The sofa was a bit dated and not so comfy.

It was self catering. The views were so beautiful, the outside seating was nice to have and relax. The chickens and donkeys were so cute, we had a visit from a gecko a dog and a cat. If you want peace and tranquility this is the place.
