It was so nice to share Gio’s apartment. He is a great host and an interesting person. Everything I might need was on hand and he made me feel comfortable in his home. Although there was not much natural light, Gio has tastefully and creatively adorned his place with friendly lighting.

It was my first solo trip and stay in a shared appartement - thankfully the owners are kind and gave their best to make my stay comfortable and safe. nice tips for madrid and conversations Little water, cookies and city maps in the room - Everything as described and on the pics. Easy to reach the city centre, museums or parks with metro or by foot. Would come back (:

At the beginning it felt a bit weird as the owner sleeps in the next room/same apartment. Key for the guests room would be very much appreciated.....just because being a girl, alone, sleeping with a stranger in the same apartment without being able to lock the door , feels unsafe somehow. The rest was very good 👍

The area is very good with good conections also during the night (to the airport as well). Bars and restaurants + nonstop shop(400m) pretty close. The owner waited for me until midnight and was friendly. Very comfortable bed. Ideal to sleep good and if you don't plan to spend too much time in the room it is perfect..... as it doesn't have a very ideal view from the window.....I guess is kind of garage entrance or so.... but it did not disturb me as it was not a busy area.

Good location, almost in the city centre. Clean nice apartment fully corresponds to the provided images. Very pleasant and friendly owners, I arrived at midnight and they prepared water and snacks for me :) Also recommended some food places ans sight seeing in the city. Owners are really fast in getting back to you in case of any questions. Very much appreciated. If I come to Madrid again, I will definitely go for this place.

The only problem was that we felt uncomfortable because we were 2 girls and our room had problem with locker and at the next room slept the man that has the appartment But the location and hospitality are excellent.

It is a bit noisy but it's what you can aspect from an apartment in Spain. Nothing that earplugs can't solve!

Great location: walking distance to many places such as parque el Retiro + super close to buses and metro. Very friendly hosts: as a solo traveler this was a great place to stay.

First of all, I don’t read Spanish, so I didn’t know this is shared apartment which indicated in the title. I only found out to share the apartment with host couple. Giving the inconvenience and some uncleanness of floor, the host tried very best to make myself enjoy my stay and the trip. This said, I feel safer to stay with locals for this solo part, but with this budget, you might be able to find decent hotel to stay alone

The proximity of the bedroom to communal room and WC was a little difficult to retain ones modesty

The accommodation is in a owners ground floor apartment,,the small double bedroom is just off the communal room with a shared WC.Use of kitchen is handy. The apartment is handy for a brief visit to Madrid, close to plenty of eating places and 40 metres from no2 bus stop which takes you right into the city area. A dentist just around the corner is handy if you need any treatment,I booked a great hygienist 60 euros whilst there.
