Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandOur recent stay at H10 in Tenerife was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The room was bright, tastefully decorated, and had a fantastic sea view—exactly what we were hoping for. Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh smoothies, omelets made to order, and plenty of local specialties. Dinner each evening felt like dining in a top restaurant, with attentive service, excellent wine options, and new dishes to try every day. Honestly, we didn’t encounter any downsides during our stay—everything ran smoothly, and the location made exploring the area very easy.
We stayed at H10 in Tenerife for a week, and everything about our holiday exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, modern, and cleaned daily to a high standard—we especially appreciated the ocean view from our balcony, which was perfect for sunsets. Breakfasts were generous and varied, with fresh fruit, local pastries, and cooked options to suit all tastes. The dinner buffets were just as impressive, offering themed nights with excellent international and Canarian dishes—plus great vegetarian options. There really wasn’t anything we disliked. The staff were friendly, the hotel was quiet at night, and the pool area was always well-kept and never overcrowded.

AustraliaI thought the bed was very uncomfortable and I didn't have a good first night. After talking to the front desk manager, I was offered a mattress topper which worked really well.
Overall it's a beautiful resort. Some of the decor is a bit dated and worn , but the lobby, bar area and restaurant as well as the pool areas are very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner and thought that it was excellent value. It's a good family destination with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, lovely waterviews with a little shopping centre close by. I would be happy to stay there again.

United KingdomSeveral little things could have been better, although this didn't detract from the overall experience. For instance, having to pay €3 a day for the room safe seems petty for a 4 star hotel. And there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. And, although we had checked in online, it still took a long time for us to check in at the hotel. Overall the food was good, with lots of variety but some dishes were a little cold and there could have been more 'specials' each day - fresh fish, cooked meats etc. There should also have been spare cups and cutlery available at breakfast - everyone just ended up taking them from other tables, which is inconvenient for all guests. Finally, the water aerobics was held indoors - not the same as an outdoor experience!!
Hotel was excellent - great pool area and lots of sunbeds. Very clean and staff were friendly. Entertainment every night. La Caleta is only 5 mins walk and has many excellent restaurants with views over the sea - definitely worth going up there.

Super friendly staff and a nice and calm atmosphere all around the hotel. We had upgraded to "Privelege" which gave us access to specific areas with extra services included in the price, for example a la carte breakfast and free drinks in the specified areas . It was worth the extra cost. The hotel is located in the calmer northern Coaste Adeje with beautiful beaches, restaurants and beach promenade.

United KingdomThis was our first visit to Tenerife and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed and well maintained. There were enough pools and activities for the kids to enjoy while we rested and soaked in the sun. We went for half board and were very impressed with the spread which kept on changing everyday. The pool tables, table tennis table and small arcade room are nice touches. The staff at the reception were very helpful and always attended to you with a smile. The waiting staff at the restaurant were good and had a few superstars like Julian Peres and Bryan who went above and beyond to deliver a good service. Their manager a person called Alberto who stands at the entrance to the restaurant however was not a pleasant character. Let's just say he acts like someone who has lost interest in the job and does not care about customers. You realize that it just takes one person to spoil your stay but luckily his staff came to the rescue.
