Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomShowers, although clean were not very powerful. We didn’t use the pool as it was small and noisy, that said the beach was not too far to walk and that was lovely.
Clean. Convenient for Santander ferry. We were lucky for get parking with the tent, this is not normally the case as cars are parked at an off-site car park next door to the campsite. Handy shop on site.

ItalyCars can be brought in front of each tent and this looks like a parking more than a camping... cars should stay out of the tents area

United KingdomTent wasn’t perfectly clean. Bar across the road plays music until midnight. It was fine for us but could bother families.
Excellent location near Playa de Somo, a beautiful stretch of (almost) untouched beach across the bay from Santander. Cute set up with fairy lights in and outside the tents.

IrelandIf you are concerned about cleanliness the tents are not the cleanest on arrival... as in some dirt and hairs etc.
The showers and bathrooms were very clean and maintained very well by staff. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bell tent was very comfortable and cool. The location was great, very close to the beach, and town.

SpainThe shop didn´t have sun cream/after sun - not an awful thing, but being a beach location it would have been good. The breakfast in the bar/cafe/restaurant in front (which from my understanding is part of the camp site) is quite expensive by local standards considering the coffee if DIY Nespresso capsules... to be fair the place was being renovated before high season when we was there so perhaps they have a proper breakfast service by now. It´s camping in the country so you shouldn´t expect otherwise BUT...if you don´t like bugs, don´t stay here.
It was our first time "glamping" and as a keen (traditional) camper I had my doubts regarding "glamping", however, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The "tent" was deceptively larger than it looked from the outside with a comfortable double bed, a mirror, fan, and chair inside, we also had a little patio style table and chairs outside the "tent" too. The toilet/shower block was extremely clean and generous in size - plenty of loos and showers. There was a shop on site that had the essentials and the site is a short walk away from the beach, and a short walk (but slightly longer) to restaurants/ bars etc

United Kingdoma bit noisy at night, obviously as tents don’t have soundproofing!
nice big tent (book the one with the bathroom). hot shower with good water pressure. flushing toilet! was the most glamorous tent I’ve ever stayed in! handy to have fridge and cool box. no kettle which would have been nice. top bunk is very high so not suitable for younger kids (they can sleep on the lower floor). entertainment team really nice. pool clean but a bit chilly! good kids play area. clean communal facilities.

SpainMy tent, duplex with bathroom, was in front of the dishwasher area, meaning: (i) views were awful; (ii) the noise was very uncomfortable during the day, although, fortunatly, from 00.00 to 8.00 was forbidden its use; (iii) everyone was passing by our front door all day long.

United KingdomWe didn’t like the street light right over the tent and the excessive noise even by Spanish standards. If you book the tents at this place be sure to ask for one away from the row by the road!
We booked a flanking tent, which had comfy beds and was well appointed but the tents are all very close together and it was incredibly noisy from music and all sorts. Also, our tent was on the road edge of the site and the street light shone directly in making it very difficult to sleep.

AustriaI thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to both my friends and wider circle of acquaintances. I am also eagerly looking forward to returning myself in the future.
I had the privilege of using two distinct types of tents during my stay here. One of them was quite spacious, complete with its own bathroom, while the other served as a cozy abode for me and my partner, with access to a communal shower. Both of these experiences proved to be exceptional. The cleanliness and orderliness were consistently maintained, providing a high level of comfort. The ambiance was friendly and cooperative, with everyone being considerate of each other's needs. Each tent was equipped with remarkably comfortable sleeping arrangements, including premium bedding and towels. Additionally, amenities such as a cooler for food and beverages, a fan, and provisions for hanging clothes were readily available. Outside, each tent had its own private seating area. Conveniently, there was a supermarket located within the campsite, and a variety of restaurants were also within walking distance. Moreover, the beach was easily accessible on foot. For those interested in exploring the nearby town of Somo, it's approximately a 30-minute walk away.
