How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

You can tell that it used to be a very good and modern hotel back in a day and now needs some renovation, but for me, everything I needed was working and it was clean, so no complaints
- location -good water pressure and hot shower - working air-conditioning -blackout curtains - the size of the hotel room - ladies at the reception: one of them helped me and ordered a taxi after I had already checked out and left the hotel, so it wasn't even her duty, but she did help, I appreciate it

I can really fault this hotel, but has a suggestion a revamp would definitely improved it as the rooms look tired
Everything was at it should be for a 3 star hotel, including the price point, on a very busy day for a local fiesta.

Really nothing to dislike. Very good value for money.
The hotel a bit dated but very comfortable, with good size bedroom and bathroom. Walk in shower. English speaking TV channel available, It equidistant from bus and railway station both a good 20 minute walk. Consider a taxi,. The hotel sits just outside the Old Town a five minute walk at most. Breakfast was standard but good choice and reasonably varied certainly worth the money.

Air con was very weak, too hot at night Wifi didn’t work, wasn’t a proper connection which required a password meaning it was unstable

The AC on our rooms didnt work properly. The room, during the first week of August was way too hot to sleep. Neither with the AC at max or with window open we managed to sleep. Also for a triple room was way to small compared to the photos.
Handy hotel for our last night on holidays. Basic rooms and nice bathrooms Friendly staff but an overall experience wasn't good on our stay.

Im not sure what could have been better for the money. A outside balcony and pool would probably be to much to ask.
The Hotel Gaudi was situated next to the old town which was ideal for exploring this compact city. We travelled to Reus by train from Stiges and walked to the hotel with our two wheeled suit cases from the station which was a gentle down hill stroll and took 15 minutes. The room was spacious and clean with a gentle air conditioning system to keep the room comfortably cool in the heat of summer. We did not have breakfast purely because we had some spare hours in the morning before catching a taxi to Reus airport and wanted to experience some Spanish café food. However, we did use the adjoining restaurant and bar where the service and food was excellent and you could sit outside watching the people of Reus going about their business.

The bar shuts at 8pm, parking is right next door and 4.50 e is good value for 24 hrs.
Staff were excellent, breakfast far exceeded our expectations and set us up for the day and the location was very central

They tried to put me in a different room and said all the doubles room were booked despite this being the property type I paid for. After a couple of attempts my room was available.

Facilities are quite old but clean. Should be at least a machine to heat the water..
