Great small hotel in the centre of Fornalutx, clean with a great breakfast

The room is very small and leaves no space to move around or even place the hand luggage in a comfortable way. And it’s basically a bed, two nightstands, a mini fridge and the tiny bathroom - there’s nothing else. For the price (180€/night), we were expecting a more spacious and well decorated room from a petit hotel.

The exterior is quite nice and the location is perfect! They kept the old facade of the building and the outdoor pool with a mountain view is amazing. The breakfast is good, but we would appreciate a greater variety of fruit.

The bathroom is so close to the bed (30cm away) that if one person goes to the toilet it wakes the other up in the night

Contrary to reviews, finding free parking was so easy. We were on the top floor and the stairs were fine to get up, it’s a heritage building so it’s to be expected. The room was so cute and clean, nice amenities 100% recommend fornalutx town for a night

the impersonal welcome, the lugging of heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs, access to the property was not great,

the views were great, breakfast was ok, room was above average, breakfast staff and cleaners were friendly. As a boutique hotel it didn't tick all the boxes.

The pool area was a little small and there weren't enough loungers for everyone to sit on. One of the windows by the wash basin didn't have a blind or shutter on it, so we were woken up first thing by the light. Would have been nice to have some water in the room or a filter to fill up from. Online check-in procedure a little fiddly.

Fantastic location, well-appointed and clean rooms with incredible views across the mountains. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately our stay was marred by the behaviour of a man renting nearby with access to the garden immediately next to the hotel terrace, which my mother’s room overlooked. He created repeated disturbances, including loud music and filling my mother’s room with smoke from a bonfire; after we had asked him politely to refrain and then asked the hotel to intervene, which they did, my mother was woken in the night by a strong flashlight shining directly into her room and into her face which terrified her. A real shame because otherwise we loved it there. Hotel has a small terrace and plunge pool but no access to a garden.

Superb location, clean attractive rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, magnificent views of the mountains. Stayed for a week with my mother and travelled to Mallorca without a car for the first time; public transport to and from Fornalutx, was regular and reliable and hassle free. Arrived via the train from Palma to Soller, which was great fun. The walking from Fornalutx is superb and the temperature in early May was perfect for walks, beach and sea.

The room didnt really looku like on the picture, and the pool on the terrace is really small. Parking is located 300m away, but its walkable. A little but overpriced for such a small village, but okay.

I am fed up with the "virtual check-in". We had some pretty substantial issues on arrival and there is no doubt they would have been dealt with quickly and efficiently if there was a person on-site. The accommodation could definitely provide this at minimum cost in such a small town. Additionally this lack of personal contact leaves an "incomplete experience with kn one to ask simple every day questions of. (Other than at breakfast when the staff are busy preparing for the guests and seems an intrusion. I wish Booking.com offered the virtual check-in as a filter and I would definitely avoid them.

This is a good accommodation in a wonderful town. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms a good size. Staff were friendly but only present at breakfast time.

There were only minor things we noticed. First of all unfortunately they don't have a free parking. We didn't really mind it as we only stayed for one night. But lets say for a week it could be a problem. The other thing was the pool...just before we arrived they put bleach in the pool so we couldn't use it that day and we didn't have time to try it before leaving the next day, cause we only stayed for one night and we had a tight schedule. So that was a shame. I have to mention the walls are quite thin and also if you have a lot of luggages it's quite a pain to bring all your stuff from the parking lot to the hotel. But these are just minor things, otherwise we had a very nice stay.

Best and most comfy bed I have ever tried in a hotel. Really 5 star. Beautifully designed and decorated hotel, every little detail was perfect. Lovely and quality breakfast by the pool. They even had a cute kitty 🥰 just purrfect. Modern, light and naturally designed room. Very close to the town center. 100% recommended and I would come back for a longer stay again in the future.

There was a musty smell throughout the whole building and no mosquito nets on the windows. The room I was given was completely different to the images of the room I thought I booked, although the room was big it was very dated and not worth the price. Room 15 needs work to warrant the nightly fee. I would expect for there to be bottled water in the room on arrival, or have a water cooler on site, as all other hotels do. Instead there was an honesty bar, charging 4 euro for a bottle of water. A shame that there were so many negatives but improvements need to be made for the price, or prices lowered.

The location was great. I was on the top floor, so the views out the bedroom window were incredible and the breakfast was good.

The safe provided was stand alone/not bolted in and did not suggest a secure option In the land of oranges, the orange juice was reconstituted! On arrival, there was no one there. Initial communication was only through the intercom. For this much money, it was not hospitable. All other accommodation we have used had a human being to assist. The shower did not have a lip on the base, so water went everywhere: we were forced to lay out several towels to stop the stone floor becoming dangerously slippery.
