The room was tiny and the window was facing the wall

Food was great, the hosts were nice, the village was very cute with middle-agy streets and it looks gorgeous from aside when you’re driving to it. I had to stop to take a picture :)

Rooms a bit tired but clean/well presented.

Family run hotel and they were excellent hosts. Restaurant/food also excellent. We were on motorcycles for which there was secure outside parking.

The electronic key lock is not necessary for that kind of accommodation and the rural location.

The online check in procedure is awful. Trying to complete the online check in to get codes to open doors which require internet is a nightmare. Dislike this system immensely.

Lovely host and hostess who were very nice and welcoming. Great dinner on premisis too.

Doors locked even when arrived within estimated time slot, door buzzer not working, until someone saw us from the kitchen. No lift, having to carry out luggage bags up the stairs. No tea/coffee or kettle facility in the room, for hot water to drink. Rug covering part of wooden flooring looked old.

Adequate size of bedroom and bathroom. Free private parking.

The Hotel is on the main through road which is a busy road and noisy. We had two rooms at the front - and there was a lot of noise from heavy vehicles. I think that there are rooms at the back that overlook the car park and river - I don't know it they are available, but they would be better to alleviate the noise from the traffic. The rooms are clean, and basic but could do with an upgrade.

The Hotel is in the middle of the town which is within walking distance of Castellfollit de la Roca. Free parking is at the back of the hotel and there is plenty of space. There's not a lot at Castellfollit de la Roca - an afternoon visit would suffice. We did eat at the hotel and the food was very good - a bit basic (sausage and chips), but very tasty and cooked on the open BBQ in the restaurant / bar area. I can't remember what we had for starters, but I remember it being good (as was the pudding). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I called because I was unsure of parking and was able to get a person to help even with a language barrier. Very friendly. Beautiful building.

No lift, our room was on 2nd floor not good for a 75 year old with luggage. awkward to get into the bathroom, the room was on different levels.

Check in was good - in the bar, the bed and pillows were great, our evening meal was excellent, great to have a car park on the premises (and free)

    All our exceptions were met.

We stayed Saturday to Sunday night. Quiet little village. The room is very simple but fitting for the environment. If you are looking for a simple quiet getaway this is the place. The pizzeria we found up by the lookout point has one of the best pizzas we ever had. There are hiking trails around, but we didn't explore them. We walked up to the lookout on Saturday evening, explored the pretty little side alleys, had dinner at the pizzeria and walked back to the hotel. Sunday morning we walked through the village. Stopped at the supermarket and bakery and then moved on around 10am.

Nothing, really, the room was a little small, but it is an inexpensive rural hotel in the heart of a historic town.

The food was really good and outstanding value for money. The staff spoke little English, but we managed everything with smiles and gestures.

The room is very basic and small, but matches its description, so no problem.

The bar / restaurant, with it's authentic Spanish menu and excellent service, was outstanding- a fond memory (one of our best meals out of five weeks in Spain). The food was really yummy and the atmosphere really enjoyable. The hotel is in a good location, on the edge of the old town.

Perhaps could have provided more variety of toiletries in the room, although not a big issue as I had hair conditioner and body lotion with me. Just to note that there are only stairs to access upper 2 floors and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Hotel full of character, basic but met out requirements. Great place to explore and see the geology, and learn some history. Bar/cafe/restaurant seemed to be used by local people which is always good. Food was first rate, good quality and probably locally sourced; some items cooked on an open wood fired grill when possible. Peaceful at night and good night's sleep. Suitable and safe free parking for motorcycles..
