Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

An amazing property in a beautiful location, we were blown away with the apartment. It was very clean, modern and stylish and would highly recommend staying here. There were beautiful scenic cliffs behind the property with very secluded bays for swimming, we loved our time here and would definitely book again if we ever returned. The host was so lovely and was on site to offer local advise.

United Kingdomnothing indeed.
I was a bit unsure when I booked the property because I didn’t see a sea view photo from the room in the property photo collection. but actually it’s stunning! the view from the living room and balcony is so good! the location is quite nice. very quiet with full privacy. there’s a huge Lidl around so very convenient to buy stuff. the garden and the pond is a true botanic paradise and it’s so impressive! I bet it will be super chill to lie down around the pond in summer time. the property has few accesses to the seaside so quite convenient to the cliff to enjoy the view even the sunset. the hosts are also very kind and helpful and giving us a lot of privacy. It’s 100% a hidden gem and worthy to recommend to all.

We absolutely loved this little paradise of peace! The natural pool is absolutely beautiful, we loved spending our time there, as is the wonderful balcony with hammocks and views of Teide and the ocean! The garden is handled with such great care and you feel like in a completely different universe when you‘re there. The owners have created some true magic here.

RomaniaSome people mention that the road to the villa can be tricky, but if you drive slowly, it shouldn't be a problem. In fact, most roads on the island are similar, with steep sections.
The villa and its surroundings, including the garden, pool, and cactus plantation, are fantastic. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the mini kitchen was well-equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker (with coffee pads included). It had everything for cooking. As a welcome gift, Edith gave us delicious Canarian bananas and chocolate. I loved everything about the place, especially the peacefulness and the sound of birds chirping throughout the day. Edith is one of the most thoughtful hosts I've ever met during my travels. :)

ItalyWe wish we had a cleaning during our week stay, nothing much, just changing sheets and towels. The last 1,5 km of road is narrow and steep.
We booked a small room, nothing fancy, but the bed is comfortable and we were glad to have a full equipped kitchen. The territory is just incredible, very lush and green. We enjoyed the calmness and quietness. The natural pools that could be reached by a small hike downhill is something magical, a secret place you won’t find on a map. Edith is a very friendly host.

Czech RepublicNothing worth mentioning when considered that you basically live in the countryside and on a cactus plantation. We really enjoyed our stay a lot!
In total, we spent two weeks at Tenerife and Finca La Punta was our first accommodation out of total three and we could not have picked a better place! Big, spacious, super-clean appartment with two bedrooms with comfy beds and two bathrooms with all you need, fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need for cooking including olive oil, salt, sugar, some spices and enough kitchen-ware to cook for our family of four. Plus a dishwasher and a washing machine around the corner in a separate room. Our little girls loved the private patio with sun loungers in front of the appartment and directly next to a cactus field, the swimming pond with lots of fishes and the garden next to it, which is a thing of a real botanical beauty. And the swing and an improvised trampoline ... all you need to entertain the little ones. We enjoyed this oasis of peace, total silence, listening to the ocean sounds at night and observing the stars. Edith, the owner, welcomed us herself and was super kind, friendly and really helpfull with everything. Just a few things worth noting - the finca is totally off any main road, so you will need a car! As described in previous ratings, the house is at the end of a steep road - nothing too scary, but a little bit of driving skills is good to have :) Lidl supermarket is super close. There is a nice short trek to a natural pool on the cliffy seaside. Might seem a bit harsh path, but after a careful consideration, we did it with little girls 3 & 5 years old, so it's totally fine if you're careful and know what you're doing.

LithuaniaProbably the only downside that it's located at the end of a narrow road downhill, which might be a bit challenging to reach for inexperienced driver. On the other hand, you get full privacy for this reason :)
Truly amazing place. Nicely decorated apartment with all the amenities. Everything was really clean. Got the first floor with a huge terrace and a whole cactus garden just for ourselves. The views are just mesmerizing. There are natural pools in the ocean just few minutes away.

IrelandTruly beautiful place to stay! A calm oasis. Going up north is totally different from staying in the south, I definitely recommend it. Edith is a lovely host and we had a great time here swimming in the natural pool, climbing up to the nearby cliffs, reading in the hammock, walking through the Cactus field, and petting the two cats. Couldn't have had a better time!

United KingdomThere's really nothing not to like about this serene and wonderful accommodation
Edith and Lorenzo have created a beautiful tranquil haven which was a pleasure and privilege to experience. It's difficult to find words to add to the very positive reviews of others, but we would say that if you are thinking of visiting the green north of Tenerife and you value peace, quiet and the beauty of nature then Finca La Punta is a perfect place to stay. Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped, with a large private terrace offering lovely views over the finca and nearby ocean. The finca gardens and pool are beautiful, and guests are allowed and indeed encouraged to explore and enjoy them. Despite all the peace and tranquillity, facilities such as petrol stations, restaurants, major supermarkets etc are just a short drive away. Best of all however was the attentiveness, hospitality and attention to detail of our friendly, helpful and very interesting hosts Edith and Lorenzo, for whom nothing was too much trouble in ensuring that we had a perfect stay.

Amazing! Never experienced this warm of a welcome before and trust me I’ve been to a whole lot of places. We had a huge delay on our flight to Tenerife, thus we arrived late at night to the premises, but the owners were still awake and waiting for us. Since we were communicating with them throughout the day, they knew that we will be exhausted so they prepared some basic food for us to eat something in addition to the bottle of champagne in the fridge, which they give to everyone as a welcome gift. At this time we haven’t even realized the beauty of the place because it was dark - but the next day morning when we sat on the terrace to drink our coffee we were greatly astonished by the view. The place is quite close to the ocean and isolated enough to not needing to worry about loud neighbours or any kind of disturbing noises, it was extremely relaxing. The first day we even received a free tour to the nearby cliffside (which is a UNESCO protected area), where we walked down to the “beach” and witnessed flabergasting views. The apartmant itself was loaded by basic stuff most people use (soap, toilet paper, body lotion, coffee machine etc.), even had a little tap for springwater on the terrace. The sleeping accomodatiom was great, temperature was perfect when you opened the door for the night. Two important addition: our crew had two birthdays during our stay. The owners checked our ID cards for administrational purposes, and they realized it. For their birthdays they even baked a cake and surprised us on the terrace when we got back from our trip. So little to add but it’s a memorable experience for sure. The other addition: prepare to be welcomed as a long time not seen friend. Really, I felt like they were more happy for us, than us having our holiday there, which is definitely a plus for me. We are going back for sure.

it’s idyllic and extremely calming place. What’s not to love? it has a lovely welcoming host, a natural swimming pool. nestled between the hills of North Tenerife and the rugged coastline you get stunning views all around from the terraces. Tropical palms and cacti also all around. we were blessed with pretty good weather for our stay. Lots of sun during February so we were very happy. The garden is beautiful and the host even baked us a cake! she told us about local walk to sea pools which are also worth a visit. Many little towns around a short drive away and many delicious restaurants nearby. we also visited a vineyard and a banana museum. loved this trip and so did our 10 month old baby.
