Alejandra was a wonderful host of this charming property. She was very accommodating even when I was delayed coming the Valcarlos route. She prepared an excellent dinner and breakfast. The room was spotless and I appreciated having a sink to use in it. Would definitely stay again another time!

Everything was perfect. I have zero complaints.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after a hard days walk. Alejandra was so great, the room was perfect. You can have a great dinner there, or enjoy other options just steps away. Zero complaints at all. I hope to stay there again the next time I do the Camino. A+++ all the way.

You do have to share a bathroom. But I knew that going into it.

Location was perfect to break up a long day on the camino. The owner is fantastic! Such a truly kind person. Oh and the food! Fantastic!

Charming room, beautiful views. The food was exceptional. The food was obviously made with care, thought, and exquisite expertise. Alejandra is a chef of great skill.

The owner, Alejandra, is a superb host and cook. So very nice. Ensures every detail is taken care. She spent all afternoon preparing the night’s wonderful dinner. Peaceful view of the mountainside from my dining room table. Sharing a bathroom was new to this American but was no problem. Oh, and Alejandra connected me to a taxi service when I was well past Valcarlos from St Jean PDP. Merci beaucoup Alejandra.

This was a wonderful experience! Alejandra was so magnificent, caring and made our short stay enjoyable beyond all expectations. The food was beyond compare. I liked everything. Even Bonbon their dog! The bed was a little firm for me but I still slept well. Maybe a pillow top cover will help a bit.

Alejandra was very hospitable and takes great care of her home. We loved the decor and the feel of a country style home. We were so lucky to stay a night there feeling safe and comfortable (and well fed!) before our Camino. You must stay for dinner and breakfast. Her cooking is savory and homemade. I wish I could cook as well as she!

The location right on the Camino was perfect for us. The property was beautiful-a really lovely example of an old village house. The decor was stylish and sympathetic with a few quirky touches. It was warm and clean and had fabulous wooden floors. Our room was immaculate and very very quiet with beautiful views of the mountains. Our host, Alejandra, was a first rate cook and provided us with a memorable dinner and breakfast. We also liked her dog!
