The apartment is an excellent option for family vacation time - located just near the beach, there is plenty of good restaurants around and great coffee spot around the corner. Very close to the supermarkets, taxi stop etc. The apartment is equipped with all necessary stuff for comfortable stay as at home - kitchen, washing machine etc. The host is very helpful. It is clean and cozy. Hint: try restaurant Casa Gloria near the apartment for excellent octopus, monkfish etc.

Absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and quite comfortable. Large comfortable bed. The location is convenient for exploring the old town and just a short walk to the beaches. I must say, aside from the apartment being perfect, the host is the best! Great communication throughout. He is professional yet friendly and very knowledgeable about Almunecar and the surrounding area. I hope to return and will absolutely stay at his property once again. Don’t think twice, stay at El Tranco for an authentic stay in Almunecar!

For a longer stay, we would have found it difficult to manage with only a two burner stove top and no oven. For our three day stay, this posed no problem at all.

We found the property entirely adequate for a short visit to a beautiful town. The location is perfect. The furnishings and decor make the place seem larger than it is. Well done!

We were in a 1st floor apartment initially which was quite cold as it gets no sun in January. We were offered another 1 after 2 weeks as the bathroom door didn't close which was better. The furniture was very Spanish which is understandable but the sofa doubled as a 3rd bed and was quite high and deep so was quite uncomfortable to sit on. The higher up in the block the weaker the Internet got (not a huge problem but a bit annoying at times).

The apartment was very well serviced, fantastic location right in the centre of the old town. If we needed anything we just emailed or rang up and it was sorted out pretty much straight away. The beds were comfy and the shower was brilliant. Lots of fresh towels and bathroom supplies.

Could be better knifes in the kitchen to cut bread and meet with and a cheese slicer.Better sleeping pillows-smaller and softer. Absolutely a hand shower in the bathroom.

Everyone was extremely helpful and we were very grateful for being able to collect the keys after the given time as our bus arrived later than planned in Almunecar. Communication throughout was excellent.

Not enough pillows and the 2 provided were too hard for our liking. Could benefit with an iron/ironing board. No actual manned reception and out of date information - so had to call owner both on arrival and on leaving. (Tip would be to install a code lock system for both outer door and apartment door.)

Its location. It was clean. The bed matress was comfortable. Reasonably well equiped - including washing machine, good hair-dryer, toaster, kettle/coffee cooker, microwave oven and cooking hob, etc.
