Excellent location a quick walk from the centre of the town, good parking, large room and very friendly staff. There is no breakfast facility but that didn’t matter as you can walk to town in 5 mins and there are lots of cafe options

The duvet was far too heavy, and we couldn’t sleep with it. There was a smell in the room that made it necessary to keep the window open at all times.

So pleased we found this accommodation as it’s ideally located for exploring The Picos (and is only a short drive away from one end of the Cares Gorge walk). Our room was quiet and very comfortable, with a wonderful aspect over the private garden and mountain views at the rear. Carmen was very welcoming and helpful. Although no meal options are available, this was no issue to us as there are cafe options for breakfast and good restaurants very close-by in the town.

A little detail that would be nice would be the option to have breakfast in the hotel. But all in all only a detail as there are little bakeries accessible by foot nearby.

Everything was perfect. The moment that you step in you are welcomed by Carmen’s hospitality. Everything was spotless and we felt that the owners really want their guests to have the best stay. We will be back :).

It was the most amazing and beautiful getaway we have ever been on. The small city was incredible and we loved visiting all the shops and restaurants. And the hotel itself was amazing.

They use a detergent on the floors that has a very strong and lasting odor which you can’t get away from. It is also very oily and slippery and therefore a serious slipping and falling hazard. I almost fell going down the stairs and in the bathroom. They should absolutely not use this product.

Small family run hotel. Very clean. Amazing views. Comfortable. Wry pleasant ambiance. Excellent starting point for Picos de Europa, Bulnes, Sotres, Cares gorge, etc…

We read reviews about their breakfast, so we assumed that was an option, but it wasn't. I'm not sure if they just don't do breakfast in the slow season (we went late October), or if they don't do it at all anymore, but that was the only downside to our stay. And there was a restaurant and a bakery within 2 minutes that both opened for breakfast.

Comfortable beds with a beautiful view from the balcony at a great price. The town is small but quaint, with multiple restaurants, bakeries and a few shops. Perfect spot to stay to access the Picos de Europa, especially if you want to hike the Ruta del Cares and see Bulnes.

I had messaged the hotel to let them know our ferry was delayed due to weather and we would miss the 1st night of a 2 night stay - but to keep our room reserved as it was already paid for and we would arrive as quickly as possible next day when ferry had docked. I received a reply from Laura saying she would see us on the 2nd day. When we arrived we did not seem to be expected and although we finally got our to room, we never really checked in? No passport details etc? We left the next morning leaving our keys on reception desk. No real interaction or help - a bit strange!

Nice hotel ,with plenty private parking and central to the town - but very quiet. Nice garden with seating and access down to the river. Room was very nice with views over garden.

One of the most enjoyable stays I’ve had. The view from the room was spectacular. Added to the overall peacefulness. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was more than fast enough for you to stream. Stayed here in the middle of a trip through Portugal and Spain and loved the hotel and the town.

Location is great in the centre of Las Arenas near shops and restaurants. The hotel is pretty with a fine attention to detail. The view from the room was fantastic of the Picos and the staff very friendly, looking after our bags as we arrived early.

The owner and staff were so good natured. The property and gardens were so beautiful and restful. The bird song was amazing especially in the morning. Flowers in every window. Artwork, wood carvings.
