Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was good value considering the excellent location, be aware it's an old building so has it's expected limitations. Bar /restaurant is onsite. Please be aware that parking in the old town is for residents only so a 10/15 minute walk is needed (not a criticism) although you can drop off luggage I believe.

United StatesThe parking is a long walk from the hotel, at the bottom of a very steep hill. You can drive up only to drop off luggage. This is extremely inconvenient; if we’d known in advance, we would not have booked here. Also, there was a lot of noise from the hotel restaurant until midnight.
Very comfortable bed, excellent shower (large stall, great pressure and lots of hot water), nice breakfast included. This is a wonderful little hotel, but the parking situation is a big problem.

Breakfast disappointing and morning staff surly. Only 2 slices of toast and tea/coffee provided. Had to ask for fruit juice. No buffet or fresh fruit offered. Set time of 9am, with no flexibility.

United KingdomThe parking! If you use the correct parking location, it’s a huge distance uphill to the hotel. We used a carpark close by but at risk of police clamping apparently 😳 There are a couple of very steep steps into the accommodation which would be difficult with any mobility issues. There was also an issue with our arrival time (along with another couple) and the hotel was closed. We rang and a lady came after a short while to let us in.
The room was very nice and clean with a fab view.

The check in was a nightmare. When I arrived at the appointed time the hotel was closed. I called the number at the door and a woman assured to be there within 5 minutes. She arrived half an hour later, seemed to be upset that a customer is disturbing her. She just opend the door "you are in number 3" and dissapeared without another word. I did not feel welcome. The Wifi did not work at all. The room itself was nice. It is possible that someone doesnt like foreigners. But in this case: why working for a hotel??

Czech RepublicThe hotel's description as having "soundproof rooms" is rather misleading. Their "soundproof" in reality means that you will hear from the other rooms other guests conversations, running TV or somebody flushing the toilet etc. Internet was not provided. There are some WiFi available, but when I asked for password I was given details of WiFi which neither my phone nor my laptop could even find. Since nobody speaks English there I did not really bother to clarify and used my mobile data insted (unfortunately in my room mobile signal was not so good, so it was rather slow).
