The room was infected by noise from the bar below until well after midnight. There was no air-conditioning so the choice was to stifle in the room or try and sleep with the bar!

The hotel was fine generally. Friendly staff. Garage parking nearby for my motorcycle without charge which was nice.

Rooms a bit small and loudly decorated, no lift to rooms.

Central, good bar below, old stone house, very central. All very clean and quiet, new quiet and effective AC. Comfy beds, toothbrush included.

The owners lack of English was a stumbling block but we shouldn't be expected to rely on the host speaking a language not native to them. We would 100% stay at this location again. :) 😁

The best location in town. Very friendly and helpful with secure garage for bikes. Great tapas although the dinner menu is a little light for pescatarian/vegetarian. Travelling solo it’s great for watching the world go by and the owners/staff just want to look after you. Recommend for the Via Verde Santander Mediterráneo

Dinner options were quite limited in the town. One of two rooms didn’t have a fan so we had the window open, locals partied till 2am which kept us awake.

Perfect central location, host was very accommodating putting our fridge bag in the hotel fridge.

No air con, which is to be expected in a 3*, but a fan was provided.

For a 3*, it's a lovely Boutique hotel. The drive in from either direction is great and from where we were at the front, nice views of the mountains. It's a busy hotel with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Very relaxed attitude from the staff. Would stay again :)

The convent opposite is floodlit all night, which meant my room was very bright. Light sleepers - take an eye mask.

No english spoken, but staff helpful as possible. Tricky to find hotel as its on the edge of a pedestrian area

We couldn’t stay longer.

True Spanish inn, the type I was dying to stay in even before I came. A place where you eat, drink, and sleep all in one place. A place with good humour and generosity. A place with character and characters on both sides of the bar. A mix of the modern and the medieval that seems seem less in a way only the Spanish know how to do in their style.

Late dinner (from 9pm) for a couple of tired and hungry cyclists, and no other options in town - good food though.

Restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast, as well as drinks and snacks during the day. Lovely location by the Monastery and plaza. Able to store our bicycles.

It was all good.

El Rinćon is in a beautifully restored building on the corner of the square dominated my the San Salvador monastery. Our room, number 3, was the best room and looked directly across to the Monasterie. We had a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a beer and coffee in the bar on arrival. Our room and bathroom were quite small but very clean and very recently decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the heating was excellent. It was a cold January night. The chef was off but the proprietor cooked dinner for us which we ate in the bar with all the locals chatting away. In the morning the same friendly member of staff who greeted us made us breakast which we really enjoyed. Very good coffee and toast and cheese. Also very good wine with our meal for just €1.8 per glass. This is a great place to stop over in a very interesting town in a beautiful mountain region. Very good price and we would stay here again. Easy parking outside. Recommended.

Nothing. We liked everything.

It was all very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. Although Breakfast was not included there was a very nice choice of food available at the bar in the morning, so we had coffee and snacks with the locals. El Rincon seems to be a social centre for the village. Booking it again soon.
