The accomodation was amazing, like a hidden gem. We had 2 apartments and both were well set up, beautifully designed with good kitchen and living facilities. The Pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds for everyone to use, with lots of shaded spaces to escape the sun too.

We found it hard to find nearby restaurants that were open or had availability.... the area is very rural and possibly a lot had closed for the hotter months of July/August.

Amazing view, cozy rooms, comfortable, perfect to stay with kids. You can use swimming pool without restrictions. Very friendly.

Complicated if you arriving at night as the final 3 km from Rute to the place are very narrow. My advice arrive at a day time.

Out of all the accommodation I have stayed in Rute, this would would be the best, everything was perfect, nothing was a hassle

This room is well equipped, clean and in a very quiet location. Carmen is a lovely host and very helpful. You will need a car as it is about 2km from Rute. The scenery is breathtaking. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. 10/10.

Cold tile floors

It was so friendly and was way better set up for non spanish speaking bits. The pool was lovely, and the apartment was really comfortable, and the views were out of this world Carmen was so helpful and friendly Just lovely

Amazing hosts , booked for two days , whilst house hunting in the area , liked it so much , we booked another 2 days , lovely pool , fantastic views & just over 5 minutes drive from Rute ❤️ Such a stunning place to stay , will definitely visit again 👍

Waking up with the sound of native birds, and the scent of olive trees in the air! Carmen was a great host!

Very beautiful location in the heart of the Sierra de Rute. Homes decorated with a lot of taste in the Andalusian style, inside and ourside (superb garden with a lot of plants). Very clean and very friendly owner.

Beautiful location , very quite and our room was fantastic, the interior design is beautiful, very Andalucian with Arabic infuences. Our view was perfect, the olive groves, mountains and in the distance the lake of Iznajar. Very well done!

Unfortunately the last 2 days the swimming pool was not very clean, and there were lots of wasps in the pool. So we did not used it then.

The hosts were very nice and accomodating. Also, the little casita was nicely decorated and had all amenities available. We had a great time lounging by the pool surrounded by olive orchards and exploring the nearby towns!

Absolutely beautiful place! We loved our stay at El Rincon. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and decorated, with a gorgeous little terrace with views over the mountains and reservoir. It has all the amenities you need to relax in the peace and quiet up in the mountains. The kitchen has an oven, stove, large fridge-freezer, and all the crockery and utensils you need. The pool area is a great size with ample sunloungers and plenty of shade. The location is a 10 minute drive outside of a town called Rute, which isn’t particularly touristy but has all the necessities. The drive through the mountains to the property is absolutely stunning, and the photos do not do the views from the place justice.

Nothing at all. We loved it. But a couple of points that might be worth knowing: The hosts do not speak any English - but this was not an issue whatsoever. Through the use of messenger etc it was simple to arrange check in and check out, and to ask any questions while we were there. A hire car is needed. I imagine you’d be able to get public transport to Rute, and then it would be possible to walk to the hotel but it would be a good 30-40 minutes up hill.

Carmen is such a nice host! The property is beautifully mainteined. Comfy appartment that we stayed in. And the pool!

Difficult to reach without car.

Very beautiful and comfortable holiday home. Lovely views from the balcony. Great and authentic design. A well-equipped kitchen, there was everything you need. There was an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and be away from the big noise.

amazing location, great Accomodation, peaceful atmosphere. excellent in all respects. 10 minute drive to town where there are various shops. cooking facilities in the apartment were excellent. one of the best places I have dated at.

It is difficult to find any negatives. for example the property was superbly clean. I even checked the filter above the cooker hood (mine at home is dirty) here it was spotless. no negatives at all
