Considering the prices and google reviews, we were expecting a bit more from their restaurant itself which is just downstairs: we had dinner there but would rather not repeat.

Perfect location just at Covadonga Sanctuary, short walk of 20mins to get there. Very clean, old fashioned structure. Amazing breakfast, with quality products. Nice staff. Large parking area.

This hotel was perfect for many reasons such as: The staff- super helpful and nice, they will even help you book you the bus to the lakes. The location was walkable to the sanctuary (which was also visible from the hotel) The breakfast was great! Perfect for a hike - eggs, bacon, croissants, fresh orange juice, coffee - again the staff were super nice!

I stayed at this hotel and would like to start by saying that both the staff and the location are simply excellent! The breakfast included in the stay was also great. The hotel has its own free parking, which is a big plus. They make sure that spots are always available for hotel guests and not taken by passing tourists — something we really appreciated. Of course, I also visited the hotel’s restaurant. The service was outstanding, and so was the food. Despite being fully booked and the staff clearly very busy, the waiters somehow managed to remember every guest and serve everyone incredibly quickly. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, especially if you're planning to visit Covadonga and the Lakes of Covadonga. The bus stop for the shuttle to the lakes is just a two-minute walk away. Thank you so much for your wonderful work!

Tin walls, had to punch a few times at inconvenient loud people.

Perfectly located for our hiking and exploration plans. Delicious and fresh breakfast, the best we had in Asturias. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and it was delicious.

The hotel restaurant spoils the impression of the whole stay. The staff looks bored and unfriendly. The food is overpriced and not good, the description in the menu does not correspond to what you get on the plate. Breakfast was uninteresting, scrambled eggs and bacon completely cold.

The hotel is set in a pretty wooded valley a few kilometres from the entrance to the Picos de Europa National Park. The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable.

Nothing Stayed in higher starred hotels and they’re not as nice as this. Dated bathrooms is all but that is not a big deal.

Room was spacious, clean with one of the windows facing the beautiful basilica. Bathroom was clean as well. Breakfast offered enough variety of products and good service. Parking on site was very good. Our meal at the restaurant was also very good.

The property is well placed, really well maintained and extremely comfortable. The food is really good and the owners are extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. Definitely one of the best stays near the Picos de Europa.

The welcoming staff. The room was beautiful, light and airy. The restaurant is really well run with very good food. The location is very pretty. We parked outside when we arrived at 4pm. Breakfast had hot options of scrambled eggs and bacon. It was a spectacular walk to the shrine. The impression overall was that it was a very well run hotel. Excellent value for money.

Not convinced by the hotel food at dinner, but I will always choose badly in Spain. If you are prepared to drive 10km after dinner many other options available in Cangas. Included breakfast very fit for purpose.

Covadonga is a 'must visit' in Asturias. This is THE hotel to stay in because of it's amazing location close to the monastery buildings. Get there before the coach loads of tourist. Stylish hotel with pleasant rooms.
