The main thing is in case you come with a dog. Dogs are allowed but you cannot leave them alon in the room if you want to leave the hotel. I understand the point but it would be better if this was communicated in the description before the booking. Cancellation was free but once you book you already make up ur mind. Then, it is mainly details, always related to the expectations and the money you pay for such an accommodation. The whole environment is a bit pretentious, e.g. too many plastic flowers and plants that you don't expect in such a beautiful place

There was an air freshener is our room but I could not find it. It was very strong and I did not like it so much. Not terrible , my partner did not notice it so much but I found it very strong.

The staff were all very friendly and relaxed. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The room was stunning. The property was stunning. The food was delicious. Very calm and peaceful. I wanted to stay longer. We will be back for sure!

Limited choice on menus and service around the pool. We booked a suite which initially looked amazing, but from closer inspection has signs of wear and tear, our toilet did not flush during our stay. But on the whole value for money.

An idyllic spot of near perfection…. Quiet and tranquil. Professional, friendly and accommodating staff! Perfect for a few nights rest. Great value for money.

Room was a tad dark, pools not as conducive as other hotels for swimming. Perfume on ground level. Bed did not fit the frame. Was hard for a man to shave with sink style of room. Some construction around it. Menu needs more vegetarian options and did not change during our stay. That said, these are small issues!

Lovely staff, great food including breakfast and dinner. Neat to walk around town w so many cats. Near girona. Large room, nice balcony. Good parking. Nice for adults only, good guests. Nice wines.

Our room ( No 14) had poor water pressure so showering was a slow process. The use of a car is desirable for this property as local bus service is infrequent.

TV only basic Spanish. Dinner was delicious but main courses all a little rich. The choice could have included some plain grilled chicken/fish. Very limited food options within walking distance, needed to drive.

Our suite was at the top of an old building set in lovely gardens. A generous spacious set of rooms, bedroom (with terrace0, sitting and bathroom, well equipped and charming. The views across the medieval rooftops and the gardens were special. It felt like our own private medieval castle. Heated pool was great. Staff couldn't do more to help. Everything you needed provided form bath gel to pool towels, hairdryer and mini bar. Quiet, beautiful countryside. A good breakfast provided and taken outside where squadrons of swallows swooped overhead and finches chattered in the bushes was a delight. Plenty of sightseeing within a short distance, from stunning archaeological sites to seaside resorts.

Our room was on the smaller side, but very cute and pretty. Again it is a medical village and I presume there are bigger rooms available.

It is situated in a medieval village and its location is magical. It is quiet and you see only nature around it. The hotel is behind walls, so it truly feels like a hidden gem. It has a nice kept garden with two pools. We arrived with our two dogs, which was easy and uncomplicated. Outside the hotel you can find lots of green walks. A great place to explore many sights and the coast. Important to mention the kindness and patience we encountered when we arrived. We arrived in the dark and I made the mistake not to read the hosts email before arrival, so I took the wrong turn and got stuck in the medieval village due to its VERY narrow streets. It is only made for very small cars . Don't do the same mistake and do not drive into the village with your car. There is another easy way around the village!! I called the hotel and the manager came down to help us while other villagers tried to help me to set back out of the village, which was a very stressful and long undertaking. Once out I was upset about it all, but the manager stayed kind, calm and helpful and helped me to distress. Thank you again.

Would have liked coffee machine in room. There was a communal area downstairs where you could buy coffee and other drinks, but no fresh milk or ice for the drinks. Prefer to have convenience of own coffee machine in bedroom.

The room was very cold when we arrived. (January). The bathroom needs updating/a makeover-it was really not pleasant for what we paid. The use of aroma oil was incredibly overwhelming and made the room unpleasant.

The location is quiet which is nice and has good access via car to other quaint villages.
