United StatesIt was the only lodging we could find out of Hornillas de Camino. It’s a 15 minute taxi ride from the Camino de Santiago. Along with the hotel, there is a bar and a restaurant. We didn’t go to the restaurant - just had tapas at the bar.

PortugalThere was no bedside light or no glass in the room. There was a light switch next to the bed, which switched on the bright overhead light. I didn't sleep well, but that was because I was overtired from a long drive, thinking about a long drive the next day. Nothing to do with the hotel.
It was quiet, clean, warm, and friendly. The staff were patient, happily reading Google Translate, as my Spanish was limited. It had a comfy bed.

I enjoyed the free coffee in the AM , The room looked new and was clean. It was above the bar/restaurant so can be useful.

United KingdomThe evening kitchen and restaurant staff really were unpleasant and indeed rude to the extent we chose not to eat in the restaurant. The bar staff that night were also very helpful and felt the need to apologise to us for the attitude of their colleagues. The management of the hotel really need to address this seriously.
The service from the staff during the day time, Maria in particular, was exceptional. The room was all we needed for one night and very clean and comfortable.
