While the rooms were spacious, adding soundproofing would improve the overall experience and make the stay more relaxing. That said, I should note that soundproof rooms were never advertised, so this isn't a complaint—just a personal suggestion for improvement.

The staff here are truly amazing—warm, friendly, and always willing to assist. This includes everyone at the hotel and in the restaurant, but a special shoutout to Mara. She addressed all my concerns right away and was incredibly helpful. The outdoor pool is lovely, and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. Plus, there's a coworking space available.

We ate once in the restaurant and the food was abit disappointing. It was abit bland and lacking authentic Asian flavours but was it a good portion size. I booked a double room for me and my girlfriend and it came with 2 x single beds.

I liked the size of the room and the beautiful garden space. The coffee was a nice surprise as it was made fresh every morning along with delicious pastries.

The bed in the double room was very soft (too soft for 90kg) and overall there seem to be a slight issue with ants, it is fine most of the time but if you leave food in the open they are over it in 5min.

Overall lovely place, sitting in the green garden during breakfast was amazing. The staff was great, super friendly, and we got great recommendations. Also, the attached restaurant has awesome food.

This is probably the best place I have ever stayed. The venue, the garden, the room, the pool, the restaurant, the breakfast, the amazing staff, the rent and surf school are just incredible. Everything is perfect and the atmosphere is so chill and cool that I never wanted to leave. The cats who live in the property are so kind and beautiful. Just everything in Surfescape is terrific.

Amazing place to stay in Lajares! The room is very comfortable and clean. Also very quiet at night. The staff is also very nice and very keen to help with any tips about the island. Recommended to rent a car in order to see everything the island has to offer.

We liked everything. The only thing that we think can be improved is the breakfast. Everyday was the same, no variety of for instance yoghurts (cow, oat, soya etc.) options incl. the fruit options were everyday pretty the same. The only change was the orange was exchanged for the grapefruit. In addition, it was a pity to see that the two juice’s served incl. orange juice, weren’t fresh but came from a package. The place is very nice and it values nature by e.g. separates garbage, the lunch menu focus a lot on vegetables etc. but this wasn’t the case for the breakfast.

the space is absolutely beautiful, with a common area with swimming pool, bar and a coworking area. The apartment we rented was amazing, a little bit isolated from the other rooms and surrounded by exotic plants. Gorgeous outdoor space and a very comfortable indoor. Equipped with all the comforts. The staff is very welcoming and always available for any requests. The space is also close to supermarket, pharmacy, stores, bar and restaurants.
