How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Outside the front of the property there are lots of bins and the general look of the hotel looks tired.
Perfect stop over on our way to our holiday home. Close to main roads/motorways. Staff are super friendly. Dog friendly. Good food. Good value for money.

Good sized room with nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Despite being very close to the motorway the room was very quiet. Good sized free car park. Restaurant and bar serve food from 7am until 11pm -- and the food looked excellent value for money. The hotel is right by the A2 -- we came up the A23 but it is easy to get to.

I had no issues
I booked this as i had my dog with me. There was room around the area to walk him no problem. The hotel is just off the motorway so perfect for easy access. Next door is a fuel station which again was perfect as you can top up before you carry on.

Nothing it served it’s purpose a an overnight stop very well.
The hotel was very good and a little out of place by the side of a motorway. But a room at the back with a balcony, air conditioning and an inexpensive restaurant on site. 10/10

Restaurant was great, food was ok but I had to use google translate to figure it out! Also there was quite a few lorry drivers, they didn’t seem to have manners as I was ordering they kept speaking over me and ordering, the waiter took their order then came back to me mid order which I thought was a little rude… For some reason the edge of the bed was before the edge of the mattress….i woke up a couple times thinking I was going to fall off, otherwise it was ok!
It was convenient for me, just off the motorway so I could get off rest for the night then get back on for my journey. Room was a decent size, towards the end and even had a little balcony.

This is a typical 3 star Spanish property. Does not look good as you arrive but it is ok for an overnight stay!!

Having travelled 270 miles we got to the hotel 20 minutes before the agreed time of 1500 hours. We were checked in but were made to wait for the room. The room was ready a point was being made! On the way down we were also early and the other receptionist made no issue about it. Petty on our part!!!
We stayed on the way to Calp and thought it was OK for us and at a reasonable price. Had a cafeteria which suited us and food was good with wine at at a reasonable price. So we booked for the return trip.

Satnav took us straight passed the hotel! They need to advertise to take the camino before the hotel.It was a 5 mile trip to turn around to locate the hotel again...the room was cold- although aircon soon warmed it up.The room itself was ok but really cpuld gave had tea/ coffee making facilities. Staff although doing their job didn't exhude warmth and welcome...for example .Several times whilst we were booking in the receptionist dealt with other guests queries...without explaining why they took preference....we were left thinking it must be a ' locals' preference thing...the booking in system Spain has instilled is a pain and takes far too long.The difference in booking in speed between Spain and France is substantial.
The room size was superb..the beds were large and very comfortable. The shower was powerful.Bidet in the bathroom a welcome extra! Restaurant on site.Petrol station next door.Good area surrounding to walk the dogs.Close to motorway.

It was very warm. Staying with a dog is allowed. The hotel is located on the highway, which is perfect for a one-night stay. The morning coffee and tortilla were excellent!

Signage to the hotel (in the dark). Only the H in Hotel was lit up! Limited space to walk dog in dark. The lift as it has 2 floors. Car parking very handy.
Surprised how quiet it was in the room, given that the main road is adjacent. Not kept awake with road noise.
