It is a pity it is not possible to have a dinner in the evening on the spot. But there are msny restaurants within a short drive.

It was raining heavily when we arrived around 21.00 and it was difficult to find. As I said some more indications would be necessary.

Although some more indications of the hotel, down the slope, would be very welcome the place is well located, on a beautiful hill, facing the mountain. It is quiet, clean and inspiring.

Very rural area but exactly what we were looking for. It's quiet and clean and the room is comfortable. The restaurant part of the hotel is amazing. We had lunch and breakfast there and the food was traditional and incredible. The bread is amazing!. I enjoyed everything about the hotel and the restaurant. Totally recommended.

The wifi in my room was slow to non-existent. Probably due to remote location and very thick stone walls in the house.

This property is in a somewhat remote area. I arrived there walking, so didn't have access to a car. Their restaurant was not open and there were no others for miles around. The owners very graciously called their cook into work to prepare my evening meal. A great example of customer service.

I liked everything!

Very charming, spacious apartment! I would like to spend there more than one night. All what is needed was there even a little espresso cafeteria ! We also slept very well!

Breakfast breakfast breakfast!!! Do not miss this treat. The restaurant was not open in the evening but the manager kindly recommended a nice restaurant in the next town. Peaceful rural location with nice walks from the front door. Helpful efficient staff. Would definitely return.... and did I mention breakfast?!

If you need a 4-star facility instead of a charming old inn, try something else—but you’d be missing out on something special.

Everything was great. The location is quiet and has its own unique genius loci. If you want to experience a real Catalonian breakfast, this is the place to be. The staff is so friendly and speaks English. I wish I could have stayed longer to relax.

Can be not very comfortable to carry heavy suitcase to the 2nd floor without lift (we just left ours inside the car, gladly parking space is very close to the room, so it doesn't bother us a lot).

This place is a hidden gem! Room is extremely comfortable for such price. Hotel & restaurant staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere around this place is chill with countryside vibes. Would like to stay he for a longer time. Meals in local restaurant are delicious and have reasonable prices. The nature around and hiking experience is priceless!

Old winery with great Spanish atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding area. Fantastic traditional Spanish breakfast ..exceptional value . Would love to have been there to have lunch!! Good location to visit Montserrat and only 10 minutes from El Bruc ..with some good restaurants for the evening

Everything is closed after 6pm and it’s hard to find place to eat out in the evening. Get some food from supermarket from Barcelona for dinner

The breakfast was delicious. We loved local food options , the favourite was homemade bread with garlic, tomatoes and cheese. The hotel is surrounded by mountains with spectacular views. There is well equipped kitchen

TV didn't work. No Wi-Fi in our room; only in other specific parts of the property, which was inconvenient. No air conditioning.

The location is remote but in an old, converted winery with great views from the courtyard where breakfast is served. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Inexpensive.

El Celler de la Guàrdia is an amazing 17th century farmhouse stay for those wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Located up in the mountains not too far from the Monserrat monastery it has a rustic charm and a tranquil feeling that makes your body and mind instantly relax. The rooms were farmhouse style, wooden floorboards, old style windows with modern amenities that didn’t overtake from that feeling that you were staying in a place from a bygone era. It’s perfect for walks, hiking, relaxing and of course eating as part of the farmhouse has been turned into a small family run restaurant serving traditional and regional foods from the area. The stone arched cellar dining area was breathtaking. Not too far from El Bruc, you can head into town for a meal or if you prefer eat onsite and grab a bottle of wine to take back to your room to indulge in later on in the evening. The team here were polite, friendly and accomodating. A big thank you to Carlotta who was more than happy to give us advice on where to hike, eat in El Bruc and answer any questions we had.

This place was ideal! So calm and peaceful after the bustle of Barcelona. Glad we had a car and can get around. It was easy to find.
