The place is great. Clean, with a touch of local charm, simple but everything is functional. We enjoyed the breakfast for 5 €. A true local gem! Spacious parking across the road. We stayed on the third floor and could enjoy the view of the mountains, with some sheep and goats munching grass on the hill sides

We loved the stone and wood house. The location is very nice at a lovely village less than 10 minutes away from Potes and Fuente Dé. The staff are very nice and accommodative for every request. The breakfast is great value for money as well.

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms are modest but clean and cozy, and the garden is a real highlight—tucked away from the street, it gave our kids a safe and fun place to enjoy some free time. Breakfast came highly recommended, and we couldn’t agree more! We enjoyed everything, and I especially loved the coffee. The staff (perhaps the owner) was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and so helpful. Overall, it was a perfect place to rest, get a good night’s sleep, and enjoy an energizing breakfast before heading out on a hike in Picos de Europa, which is just a 40-minute drive away.

The breakfast didn't surpass our expectations as it was quite monotonous (bread, olive oil, tomatoes, coffee and some basic sweets), however that might be the standard in the north of Spain:)

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The surroundings are really beautiful, including a garden with dining tables. There is even a common room equipped with dishes, cutlery, microwave and a fridge, which you can use as much as you like.

Only 1 small window in the room, so it feels rather hot in the room. Besides there was noise from traffic if the window is opened. Meal options available in towns / villages nearby only.

Location very good for visiting Fluent de. A refrigerator for shared use is a plus. The hostel is nicely decorated.

Wonderful place, close to Fuente Dé, perfect for starting your hike in the morning. We had a lovely, quiet room with the window facing trees and nature and were woken up in the morning by wonderful bird sound. We also got breakfast in the morning, which costs a little extra (5€) and had a perfect start to the day. The prices are also incredible.

There wasn’t much not to like. Travelers should know, though, that there’s not much happening in Camaleno, so you’ll be glad to have your own transportation. It is not far, like a 10 minute drive, to Potes and a short drive up toward Fuente De or other mountain villages and trails. They do offer a breakfast consisting of toast and other assorted muffin-type breads, but if that’s not to your liking, there is a common space with a microwave, utensils, a refrigerator, and tables if you prefer to bring your own food and make simple meals.

I loved the atmosphere and the room. It was clean and spacious with a nice patio or balconies for upper level rooms. The parking was easy and convenient. It was fun to meet fellow travelers and the host was great at suggesting places to go. Staff were very friendly, too. I liked that it was outside of Potes so at night it’s generally quiet and peaceful (but for a couple rowdy dogs nearby). I recommend dining at the little creekside restaurant a few short km down toward Potes at the campground.

everyone in the hostal was incredibly friendly. my friend and i got upgraded to a bigger room cause we were staying for 5 nights and that was so incredibly kind of the staff! we couldnt have imagined our trip in a smaller room. it was great that there was a fridge and microwave that we could use for our meals too! it had lovely shared spaces and an amazing view. we were about a 10min drive from potes & surrounded by plenty of good hikes in the picos.

Rooms a bit out-dated, but not a big issue. Doors can slam a bit loudly. The external lighting outdoors attracted birds at 5am, and they started singing just next to my window.

Very nice receptionist, was very attentive to my requests and had great pleasure in helping me planning my trip. Possibility to use the refectory (comedor): it had cutlery, microwave and fridge, very helpful (although it was closed in the morning). Overall nice hotel, with charming architecture and many places to relax. Price was not excessive, but not cheap either.

This is a beautiful building and the room was cofortable and warm. It is right on the road and the path to Mogrovejo starts almost immediately, so you don't have to walk along the road at all. The room was great considering the price and the breakfast was worth the 5 Euros extra
