How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds are a bit hard.
The spa was excellent. Breakfast a 10/10. The hotel is very pretty and just 5 km from Salamanca city centre.

The pool is too small. The bedrooms are a bit outdated. The Spa is too expensive.

Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Only there for one night as travelling back from Portugal. It was nice to have some luxury. Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from. Parking easy & shaded. Dog friendly in the room with bowls provided. Lovely walk with our dog down by the river.

We had to ask four times for a bed to be made up for our 14 year old son. This was as per the booking & should have been done prior to our arrival. When we got to the room they had put a baby’s crib in there. Not a problem but it should have been rectified far more quickly. Parking is an issue here with very limited spaces but a secure, paid for car park is directly underneath the hotel (€7.50).
The staff are very friendly & informative. You can charge your EV in the hotel car park of your party the parking fee, which is really handy.

Cold water for shower in morning. No bath towels even with asking at reception. Staff at times not patient with us trying to speak Spanish

The one thing we were looking forward to was the swimming pool which was featured and looked delightful, as it was very hot. But the pool was closed! There was nowhere to walk even if it had been cooler. The staff were pretty cool as well. The room had a fridge but it didn't work. The reception and communal area were huge and impersonal with no character or comfort, a bit like a mausoleum. I'm afraid we would not stay there again.
The room was very pleasant and well designed. Good, quiet air conditioning. Good location just off the motorway. Dinner was good and breakfast was excellent.

air conditioner didn't work properly, staff said it would be resolved at night but didn't happen. lobby was nice & chill, rooms warm even at night. beds not too comfortable, but not bad.
pool, spa, distance from city center, breakfast, reasonable price per value.

The timetable of the swimming pool, it opens too late and closes too soon.
The bedroom is quite big and spacious, the free parking.

No food available except on room service until 8pm. No tea and coffee in the room or even glasses for water. That’s the only small detail, everything else was great

No room service between 4pm and 8.30pm....there are no food services nearby, and as we had our dog we could not eat in the restaurant. We drove to Villamayor to find something to eat and at the end of a long drive that was not desirable.
Wonderful room, very relaxing and accommodating for our dog as well.

The terrace was full of cigarette ends and needed a good sweep and clean to match the standards of the rooms

Breakfast area was not inviting and the food was mediocre. Decor of the room was a bit old fashioned, but some people may love it.
Perfect location off the motorway and near to Salamanca. Thought it was a historic building but it seems that this is a newly built hotel. Huge hotel so it takes forever to find your room 😉 but ten again the room was also huge. Dog had a mat, a toy, a bowl.

Clean, good location travelling through. Good value but I know prices vary massively- super cheap at end of November but wouldn’t want to pay July prices ! Good food , dog friendly.

Couldn't use the small gym because the light went out after 3 minutes and the motion sensor was at the entrance only; outside the hotel partly unpleasant odour from a (?) cattle processing plant
Good conference hotel, located outside, large rooms, ample parking around the hotel, fridge (mini-bar) in the room, used by tour groups (which didn't bother me). Just a short car ride to go to Salamnca town.
