How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The hotel was fine and is close to the airport. The 101 bus stops on the plaza a very few minutes walk away and will take you to the airport for !.50 Euros.

Shower was cold (but I don't know if it was my mistake), fhe bedsheets were not great, a bit itchy. Slopped ceiling as well, made the room feel very hot. Not the worst experience, still very fair for the price
Big room, very nice lobby and location is very convenient from airport. Paid 7 euros for an uber from terminal 1

The area is a bit boring.

there arent charging sockets around the bed the air conditioner doesn't work and the the water from the reception was very expensive for 300ml and it is not as close to the airport as you expected not walkable you need uber or taxi

Located a $25 taxi ride from the airport and offering reasonably comfortable accommodation for one night, the hotel is fine. A two-minute walk away is a pleasant, tree-lined plaza with several bars, restaurants and a taxi rank.

The staff was extremely kind, caring, and courteous and the property provided easy and quick travel time by city bus to the airport which was an economical option.

Garage door not working so no one could use the garage (we booked the hotel so we could park overnight and drive to the airport in the morning with the rental car). The information says you can take the bus 101 to the airport - this is not true if you have large suitcases. The bus only allows small suitcases.

The bed needs more than 1 pillow. There is no on-site parking. Once a grand hotel, clean but very worn carpet in bedroom. All in all though a very good value for location.
Location great, price exceptional, staff extremely helpful.

Stayed here 2 nights, once at the beginning and once at the end of our tour. The first night we were in not so nice a room as on the second night. 1st night, small room and a strange smell, no glasses in the bathroom. 2nd night much nicer room, glasses available, larger room.
Location, close to a small square with a selection of eating places. Staff were friendly.

The Hotel Don Luis is exactly what you'd expect after reading any of the reviews - shabby, dilapidated, and in need of alot love and attention. That said, for the price you pay and it's location, I don't think there's much cause for complaint. It's ideal if you're looking for somewhere to spend the night before catching an early-morning flight, but that's about it. You wouldn't really want to stay any longer than that.

This hotel has two advantages: relatively cheap and walking distance to the airport. The Internet is acceptable. There is nothing else to say in terms of advantages: this is a tired place that has not seen repairs for a long time, the carpets are worn to holes, there is no breakfast. Just a place to spend the night, which is still better than sleeping in the airport.

There was no breakfast. The dinning rooms were closed. The staff was exemplary but there was only one outlet available in the room and a second in the bathroom. The carpets were so worn there were holes in it and the padding was completely gone so the floor felt like cement. It looked like the windows had not been cleaned for weeks.

The carpeting in the room was old, thin and stained in some places. It would be good for this hotel to remove all carpeting and use wood or vinyl flooring. This would improve the experience/atmosphere tremendously. The room lacked accessible electrical outlets near the desk and nightstand for charging devices. Otherwise the room was fine.
The location with access to an inexpensive bus to the airport was excellent. The room was spacious. Good cafe nearby for breakfast in the morning. Adequate for an overnight if you set your expectations for a "no frills" atmosphere.

States its near the Airport, it isn't, its either a 40 minute walk or €22 taxi ride. On Booking.com it states right near airport which it certainly isn't.
OK for a one night solo football trip. Close to a nice little square with bars and restaurants.
