How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewWe liked the design and greens inside the hotel and the terrace. Also the staff were very friendly. We also got a gift Champaign when we arrived.
We were staying at room #9. There were several things we didn’t like: * We booked the room for 2 adults and 1 child. And got a room without shower door. It was hard to take a shower without door. Super uncomfortable for family. * balcony was very small and there was a smell from the kitchen from below. * hot water was not enough for 3 people and sometimes it finished during the day. * AC was not working properly. 27C was making it very hot and 26C was making it very cold. It seems it didn’t understand the room temperature properly * we couldn’t use coffee because there was only decaf capsules available * there was no space for the car to stop and drop the luggage during checkin and checkout * restaurant had good design but the food was not good. They need to hire new chef in the restaurant

The coffee in our rooms are refilled everyday, if being used, with decaf and normal coffee, we are sorry to hear about this now and not during your stay, so we could have changed them for you. Some of our rooms have open-style showers by design, but we understand this may not always be ideal. We will review this to ensure we communicate room features more clearly during booking. About the hot water, this is certainly not the standard we aim to provide, and we are having our technical team check the water system to ensure a consistent supply, though it´s true that as it is a boiler system, usually after a use of 30 min it needs time to warm up again. We value your honest feedback and will share your comments with our culinary team to work on improving the menu and overall dining experience. Anyhow, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the design of our hotel, the greenery inside, our terrace, and most importantly, the friendliness of our staff. We’re also glad you appreciated the complimentary champagne upon arrival—it’s our way of welcoming our guests warmly. Your comments are extremely helpful as we continuously strive to enhance our guests’ comfort and satisfaction. Waitress at breakfast got every persons order wrong did not apologize tried to rectify but shook her shoulders and said yes I got it wrong…. Walked away… omelette with tomorrow and onion was chucks raw onion inside quite awful… all in all very overpriced for what it is

Verified reviewFrom the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly – the welcome was genuine and check-in was super smooth, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room itself was absolutely stunning – the decor was beautiful, stylish, and really exceeded our expectations. To top it off, they had even left a bottle of champagne for us, which was such a lovely surprise! In the evening, someone popped by to check our towels, change the bins, and even left us some cute bedtime sweets – such a thoughtful touch that really made the experience feel special. The location couldn’t have been better – just a 2-minute walk to both the beach and the marina, which made getting around so easy. I would 100% recommend Comfy Studios to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located getaway. I’ll definitely be back!
The only downside was the pool area – it was quite small and had only a few loungers, so unfortunately we didn’t manage to get a spot there. But that was honestly the only negative in an otherwise perfect stay.

Verified reviewThe staff (especially at the front desk) all get 10 out of 10! And the rooms and property were impeccably clean. Pool was relaxing and quiet. You can also have your own drinks there (no glass, of course). Hotel hallways smelled wonderful. Location couldn't be better. It's a small boutique hotel with all rooms on one floor. We had dinner there only on one night but it was really good. (Breakfast, however is not.)
The breakfast. They absolutely need an entirely new menu (or recipes). Omelettes were sooooo dry. Toast was sooooooooooooo dry. Pancakes and waffles were sooooooooooooo sooooooooo soooooo thick and dry. And the bacon was not real bacon, I don't think. It looked like a fake bacon that's made of processed meat on a factory line.

Verified reviewThe location could not be more centered. The view is fantastic. The room is big. Staff are very polite and helpful.
Because of the centered location, there is no parking facility. The hotel is kind enough to offer a public parking place for guests with a discounted cost. However, it is not very pleasant to walk with some bags in the hot temparature. We made a mistake, we should have left the luggages in the front desk then parked our car in the commercial center.
