How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our room was dated and date I say, bare! Just didn’t feel comfortable and our sleep wasn’t the best.

The room was much smaller than expected and there was no aircon, which in 35+ degrees made the sleep very uncomfortable.
Staff were friendly, easy to book in. Security for the motorbike was excellent.

WE visited during a period of very hot weather. Although the rooms had fans fitted, these did not prevent the rooms becoming extremely hot!
We stayed as a party of 3 on motorbikes. Firstly the location was fantastic in regards to accessibility to the town, places of interest and bars, restaurants etc. We appreciated the use of the secure parking area, which was a short walk away (extra charge). Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms a re a little small but essentially good value for money

Noisy outside Wi-Fi didn’t work More basic than expected
Basic, inexpensive room for an overnight stay It was very hot when we stayed - the fan helped but we needed the window open, and it was very noisy for most of the night.

Beds were very poor and tired and room sparse. 8 out of 10travellers from outside of Spain will speak basic or good English yet TV only offer Spanish when an App could deliver English speaking channels at little cost ??
Reception were a 10, Pets welcome, clean.

Parking is 15 euro's and a small dog is 10 euro's per night so if you stay multiple nights it can become expensive. Other hotels we have stayed in charge for a dog per visit rather than per night. When we stayed it was early January and although the room radiators were switched off, room 16 felt like a sauna with the floor being extremely hot to the touch at one side. I suspect the heating boiler must be below that part. We would stay again but not in room 16.
The hotel location is within the centre of the city and ideal for sightseeing. The reception staff were very pleasant and the cost of the room was very good. We have stayed here before and would stay again, but not in room 16 - see negative comments.

The noise, not sure if it was just our room but very noisy. Says flat screen tv but we didn’t have a Tv 🤷🏻♀️.
Exactly what we needed. Very near to ice rink. Nice staff and breakfast was ok for 8€.

The noise from the bar below , closing shutters around 2am , no hairdryer in the room , we were on the top floor which would be difficult for some , for us it was OK
Not applicable , to comment on breakfast. We parked 5min from the hotel , without a problem , no charge , the hotel was very clean , for a one star it was very good . Our dog was made welcome . Close to all restaurants and bars , and places of interest.

Get directions for the parking beforehand, if you have a car.
The location was great for enjoying the town, especially at night. Room was quiet with thick soundproof windows.
