Sofa bed in the family room wasn’t amazingly comfy, but it is a sofa bed so to be expected.

Great location overlooking Sardinero beach. 40 min walk to the old town, but it’s a beautiful walk in the promenade around the headland.

It was a shame the swimming pool was a bit broken and the tape across it seemed like a poor solution.

Our family room was very comfortable with divided space for us and the children. The bathroom was large and toiletries smelt great! Good supply of chilled water. Easy to operate air conditioning. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome.

The pool could be incredible as the space is great & it has fantastic views but its accessibility is limited. We were fine but couldn’t bring our younger child- It’s a health & safety nightmare too many steps big drops … part of the pool is broken with bricks in place & its “cordoned off” with a bit of plastic. It’s slippy & there’s no shade. No point in addressing with staff as they can’t overhaul the design which is what needs to be done!

Pool needs repairing and lounger shortages an issue. It’s a pity pool ends up in the shade around 5pm, but sun doesn’t set til much later.

The breakfast coffee from the machine was terrible. There is also filter coffee available but not easily spotted. This is acceptable but still not good when coffee in Spain is usually reliably so. Not much usable floor space for the price in the room.

We had a twin room with balcony and sea view. The view was fabulous. It was fairly quiet all day and overlooked the pool. Very clean. The balcony was great - once we had lunch there, and we often had a drink. Worth the extra cost. The Panorama restaurant served excellent food at a good price. The baked cheesecake was amazing. Staff were all friendly and professional. Location for us was perfect, as it was quiet and peaceful. 15 minutes walk inland takes you to Move and Go, where you can swim in the pool and use the gym/ do classes for 12 euros a day. Yogurt and nice bread available for breakfast. You can eat breakfast outside if you want.

The family rooms are slightly disappointing, the 2 kids had to share a sofa bed but would have much preferred twin beds for them.

The property was better than we had expected for a 3 star hotel. The location is right at the far end of the beach, so a bit of a walk into town.

No kettle in room. There is a chargeable vending machine near the reception to get hot drinks, but would have been nice to be able to make drinks in the room.

Price of the breakfast was a bit steep. We decided to go to the cafe 2 minutes walk away which wasuch cheaper and delicious.

The hotel was lovely. We had a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Very comfortable and clean. Staff excelled themselves, helping us with a problem. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once as we wanted more food options, but there are plenty of walkable choices with a variety of tasty offerings. Fantastic location. The pool area was also amazing, with a stunning infinity pool and plenty of sun loungers.

The aircon wasn’t brilliant.

This was a lovely beach hotel in Santander, situated right on the beachfront. The staff were great, provided me a kettle when I asked for it and also said there was a gym we could use nearby. If you are someone who likes to gym it is worth asking them about this.

Location was excellent. Rooms were modern and clean. We were upgraded when they heard it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Such a lovely and unexpected treat. Thank you Hotel Chiqui...it made our celebration holiday extra special.

We requested a double bed, but were given a twin. Minor point though!

Very comfortable beds, well furnished room, good air conditioning, fantastic views over the bay, and a really nice infinity pool and sunbathing area.
