How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewLocation good for travelling. Upstairs bed was quite comfortable. Alot of parking
We had in a Duplex Apartment - well, so disappointed as it was very dusty, cobwebs everywhere, shower not sealed so water escapes between panel and wall resulting in water everywhere on the floor. Downstairs is a bed, not chair or sofa, so uncomforatable to sit to relax and watch TV etc. You get wooden stools to sit at poorly made, and fitte wood worktop with a microwave and coffee maker, running off an extension hanging underneath the worktop ,that did not appear very safe practice. A window in the bedroom does not open - fully sealed. It is very old and dated and in desperate need of a full refurbishment, but I expect the cost to do that will far outway yearly profits so owners are not going to spend what is needed. If it was refurbished to good standards, it would be great I'm sure, but even the walkway path to the rooms had pieces of slabs missing so very very uneven and dangerous for tripping over. Staircase in the unit is only 550mm wide so cant carry things upstairs very well. It is marked as a 2 star hotel, that is a good rating given the actual 'what you get for your money'. Really, it's a 1 star at best!

Verified reviewNot that much really.
Tried to get a drink but no staff attended. There where so many flys in our room that we didn't dare open the window. The corridor smelt very musty . The bed was comfy enough but every time we moved the headboard banged so had to lay towels on it just to try to sleep. Tried to shower but the water pressure was very low.

Verified reviewJust off the main road with easy parking and a pleasant area with a stream and lots of trees.
Our room needed a lot of attention. Toilet seat very loose, Shelf hanging off the wall. Waste bin lid broken, Toilet roll holder broken, Curtain tie back holder hanging off the wall, Unable to use bedside draw as there was no handle to open it, Poor WiFi. The whole room. needed some TLC and painting

Verified reviewNice clean hotel and rooms. Friendly and english speaking staff. Nice breakfast. Located very close to a wonderful river where You can take a swim. Nice and free parking. Many people could bring their dogs. Nice garden next to the bar. All in all good value for Your money.
If You get a room facing the street be prepeared for loud noice. Too far away from restaurants as there is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive to Jaca and it is impossible to find a parking space there. The bar is supposed to open at 16 in the afternoon,- but many time You have to go to the reception to get a drink. Getting to the parking space can be a bit tricky.

Verified reviewWe were lucky enough to have one of the cabins separate from the main building, and really enjoyed our (one night) stay. We had a garden for our dog to sniff around, a comfy enough room and the bar nextdoor in case we needed anything. Good place, close to Jaca, recommended - especially a visit to the river just below the property.
No complaints

Verified reviewThe location is on a busy road but strangely enough very quiet on the back with a relaxing vibe listening to the river flowing at the bottom of the garden, directly outside the accommodation. Table and chairs are provided with a small bar on site. The room was clean and comfortable.
The grass was over grown in the outside seating area.

Verified reviewObviously down season. Room was clean but entrance and initial intro was poor. I got the feeling the guy in charge had too much on his plate so preparation was lacking, he had to remove bags of bed linen to be able to even reach my door. Mattresses poor quality, towels hard and thin. Maybe this was more about bad choice as I guess for a hostel type accommodation it was OK.

Verified reviewHotel was good for an overnight stay. Plenty of parking and not too far from the town. Bed was lovely and big. Rooms could do with a little updating but as it is an old building it is understandable. You can hear the stairs creak every time someone come upstairs. I imagine it will be lovely and cosy ion the ski season.
Creaky stairs, Bathroom needs updating. Unable to walk into the town but only a short drive.

Verified reviewVery convenient next to the main road. But also very quiet.
The only minor quibble was that there was no kettle - to boil water (for tea) and the cups provided were very small. Some basic cutlery would also have been useful.

Verified reviewAttractive hotel with easy access from the main road. The night we stayed there had been road closures due to storms and landslides and Pedro kindly contacted us to warn us. Our alternative route was a truly spectacular drive over the mountains! The accommodation is simple, comfortable and clean. We stayed in a cottage in the garden which was ideal for our dog and she really enjoyed a splash-about in the river below the property. The bar and cafe/restaurant were closed, but we expected that and came prepared with a picnic basket and food that could be heated in the room's microwave. Pedro dropped off fresh croissants for breakfast (coffee was supplied in the room) and he also kindly allowed us to park near our cottage because we had a lot of things in our car. All in all, the hotel was a nice stop off on our journey and the welcome was warm.
It was a shame that more facilities weren't open, but we were expecting that they might not be. It would have been nice to have had a meal in the restaurant and then enjoyed a drink from the bar in the garden, but we still had a good stay.
