The Receptionist the morning we checked in wasn’t very helpful. We were looking for €2 coin so we could leave our luggage in a locker while waiting for our room. We tried the shop on the complex but no joy there. Bought a water but Our change came out in €1 coins. These things are small but we were not aware that a €2 coin was required for the lockers. Also there was no brush and dustpan in apartments, a simple thing really.

Having to pay for everything in your room after you've paid a fortune to be there. Examples; AC=Pay by day, remote control for TV= paid, extra towels €15 🤦 pool bar doesn't open until 12pm not good for maybe getting a coffee or a water.

Pools for kids were excellent and no need to look for beds before 9am.

The towels were horrendous and there was 3 of us, on cleaning they replaced 3 hand towels & 3 bath towels and left only 2 bath towels, I managed to get 1 hand towel off her. They also was very thread bare and didn’t smell great. Need microwaveable dish in apartment and better self catering equipment. Just not enough essential equipment.

The family vibe was pretty good , lots of pools and slides for kids, nice bar and staff brilliant.

We had a lovely stay at Cay Beach Sun. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Especially Andreas on Reception, Pica (evening entertainment/kids club) and all the breakfast staff. 2 heated pools, great for kids and plenty of entertainment with the arcade and playground too. We stayed off season so I would imagine more going on later in the year. Good location, About 10 min walk to main strip, small supermarket on site and Aldi under 10 min walk away. The only feedback is rooms would benefit from a high inside door lock. Our 3 year old was able to open the door herself which made us nervous with pool nearby and stairs.

The entertainment at xmas wasn't great and hadn't much on . Cold pool and our shower kept blocking and over spiling half way through showers

Pools a bit too cold for me. It would be nice to have a restaurant for dinner. Snack bar food just ok and closes early.

Great room with kitchen and balcony overlooking the pools. Nice pools. They have breakfast available. About 15 min walk to the beach and shops. They have a little grocery store on site with some fresh baked goods.

Nothing was too much for the staff. All so welcoming and pleasant. Don't even need to leave the complex as there's so much entertainment for kids.

Our unit was in full sun, without any shade and this made the patio and the front interior of the unit unbearably hot. Fortunately, the bedroom was air conditioned and by leaving the door apart, the front of the unit could be brought down to a slightly more bearable temperature. We would reject that unit next time around, even though the resort itself is worth returning to.

Bedroom was a little small to fit a cot for our baby in (only just managed), so if you have a large cot you'd want to check in advance it would fit in your particular room or else baby would have to in living room which doesn't have air con.

This place was great value and ideal for a young family. The hotel is super well-situated, a 10/15 minute walk to an ideal family-friendly sandy beach, and a similar walk to town, with shops and restaurants en route so you don't even have to walk that far at all if you want to grab some grub. There are several supermarkets around but the small on on site is actually really well stocked and reasonably priced, and whilst small, the kitchenette has all the equipment you are likely to need (except maybe a spatula!). The pools are nice, and there's plenty of sun loungers available (umbrellas a bit more in demand). The pool bar is also reasonably priced and makes it super convenient if you just want to stay at the pool all day. The place is pretty relaxed, and when we were there at least, nice and quiet (no loud music or loud entertainment) which was great for us because it meant our baby could nap in her stroller easily. The hotel is pretty accessible for those with wheelchairs or strollers, as there is step free access to everywhere, unless you have a second floor apartment. It's not a super fancy hotel, but it suited our needs perfectly and I think it's excellent value for money.

Could upgrade a bit, rooms could be clean more often. The splash area did not work , kids could use only slides . Better kids entertainment will be a bonus.
