Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing !
This hotel is stunning and feels more like a retreat than anything else. The luxury farmhouse architecture is beautiful and the calmness and serenity of the place really takes over you. Our room was really spacious, gorgeous in style and the same for the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, communal spaces in the main house felt cosy and relaxing, the outdoor grounds are stunning, with the swimming pool and self-service bar being a highlight. The hotel is also just a short drive from beaches and other towns. If you want total relaxation in luxury, this is your place.

United KingdomThe choices on the menu for Dinner.
The location in the countryside. The property was peaceful with fantastic views and also only a short drive to access Historic Arta and Capdepera Village or a beautiful beach. The outdoor seating for breakfast with linen, fresh orange juice and a great selection of savoury and sweet items available through a buffet styled breakfast. The minimalist decor and beautiful floral arrangements inside and out - various chill out areas and a large bedroom and bathroom.

AustraliaLunch and dinner menu was the same and didn't change for the 5 days we were there so it got repetitive by the end, although nearly all the options (we tried them all) were excellent, but it would be great if they had a daily special. The bathroom although large and perfectly okay was starting to feel a little dated. A separate shower would be better (rather than over bath). Lack of drinks/snacks by the pool was a shame - I always felt like a cocktail or champagne and olives by the pool but this was not available. They have a self serve honesty system in the pool bar but it is limited to beer and soft drinks. Once there was a barman there who was able to give me a sparkling wine but he was not normally there. Despite these things I absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely return.
Loved the secluded location, in a stunning rural landscape with gorgeous farm and gardens. The breakfasts were great and the restaurant being indoor/outdoor was one of my favourite places. The pool was exceptional. Lots of areas to hang out and read or socialise around the property. Dinner was also great. Service was lovely and we felt like part of the family. We had an excellent room (no.15) with large private terrace with beautiful views - I felt like we were in the best room. The other guests were all lovely as well, this hotel seems to attract a nice crowd, friendly but not invasive quiet types - a few had children with them but none of the children were loud and it never felt crowded.

United KingdomMould in the bathroom and a smell of damp in our junior suite. Breakfast included in our stay was below standard for a 4* hotel at circa £300 a night. Had dinner one night - food was maybe a 6/10 (though fresh ingredients in terms of bread and vegetables) Pretty much a ghost town in terms of staff. Pool bar is not manned - honesty box - and have to rely on front of house staff to order a drink at the bar.
Beautiful property, grounds and location as pictured. Lovely location with a nice view. Dinner outside overlooking the mountains was really good.

United KingdomThe rooms were quite dated in comparison to how they are pictured on booking.com. We were initially given a room in the further property away from the main hotel which to us was fine, we sort of liked the privacy, but found the room to feel quite tired and dated in comparison to the photos. We also realised the room was not decorated to the same level as the main hotel when we asked to move rooms. If you are staying here, I would strongly suggest you request a room in the main building. Staff were mostly hospitable but we did have an encounter when we asked to switch rooms due to the initial room not being as we expected from the photos, the only other available room was a suite of which we were told we had to pay an extra 96euro to move. We didn’t feel this was right given we would have happily stayed in the initial room had it looked like the photos but were told that our opinion was subjective and we had to pay the extra if we wanted to move. Over all the hotel is fine but very expensive for what you get having stayed in two other hotels on the island for the same price, this was not to the same high standard.
The hotel is situated in the mountains so the views were really lovely and meant you were away from the busy coastal towns

DenmarkRestaurant and food is a downside , the quality of the food is not anywhere close to the quality of the hotel location and other facilities of the hotel. Its restaurant is more expensive than restaurants outside which expected but its very very bland! I wouldn't eat it again after two days and we went out every night. Salads doesn't even have any sauce, u can only add olive oil and balsamic your self! Generally i give a 5 out of 10 to restaurant . The restaurant staff barely speak English, very nice and friendly people but speak no word of english which for this level of hotel is not good! Spa looks good but very busy, so book way in advance i couldn't get a spot in 5/6 days of stay( which I think was due to low number of hours that they had a masseuse, which is another downside when u book a hotel in this calm area)
The place is very nice, clean and beautiful . Its a bit remote but if you are looking for an escape and not coming out of hotel so much its a good place. Pool facility is nice, and the self service bar is cool too, i would have appreciated if there was a bar that serves cocktails which wasn't there . Breakfast was decent and nice

United KingdomThe restaurant was really poor. The food was sub-par with very strange options which mad for a confusing selection. Food was undercooked and vegetables were very basic. Veal was raw. Goats cheese salad was undressed and appeared as though straight from a salad bag. This was really disappointing given the high price of the food and the hotel. We even found a hair in our food. This was not acceptable for a hotel aiming to be 4-star and with a 4-5 star price tag.
Lovely isolated setting in the countryside. The room and bathroom were ok.

United StatesComing from America, when someone says the jacuzzi is ‘ready’, we understand that to be about 100-102F. At this property, that meant lukewarm (though they kept the sauna toasty hot). This is a very small issue, and wouldn’t keep us from going back.
Four of us (two couples; we are all experienced European travelers) visited here. One of us said, “If I could put it anywhere else, I would go there!” (Not an indictment of its present location; a desire it could also be found in other places we like to visit, like Hawaii). The rooms were large, clean, quiet, and well maintained. Bathrooms were large, new, and clean. The grounds are delightful, with lots of room to move around. This property is very well situated for short drives around the north shore, with lots of excellent sightseeing and beaches. We ate dinner there every night, and we all agree the food and wine were very good (and the wine was very reasonably priced). More than anything else, though, is the quality of the staff. They were friendly, courteous, and our group found the hospitality better than in Italy, which is where we normally travel. Especially Jesus, who was our bartender and chief waiter, and always took time to explain our bills to us, so there was no misunderstanding. What a delightful person! Great hotel! If we’re ever near the northern part of Mallorca, we all agree we would definitely stay here.
