Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

It was so peaceful and green with sea views..Our room was incredible. It was such a beautiful place. United KingdomI didn't like having to leave!
Our stay in Casa Blu was magical. The gardens are a true highlight – lush, beautifully landscaped, and filled with vibrant and fragrant flowers, trees and shrubs. Everywhere you look, there’s natural beauty! Everyone was exceptionally helpful and attentive, always on hand and eager to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality made me feel completely at home. The breakfasts were amazing! We also ate lunch and dinner there and all the food was beautifully presented and tasted great! The accommodation was comfortable, with tasteful décor. Waking up each morning to stunning views was an absolute treat! The pool area is lovely – sparkling clean, inviting, and surrounded by those same beautiful gardens, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sunshine. The photos do not do it justice. Above all, what sets Casa Blu apart is its peacefulness and serenity. It’s a true haven where you can disconnect from the world and simply unwind, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. I can’t wait to return!

SwedenA Small Tip for Future Guests: you’ll definitely need a car. There’s no public transportation nearby, and getting an Uber can be tricky. Also, the area has lots of hills, so walking isn’t easy. Especially on the day you check out, if your flight is later in the evening, planning can be difficult. It’s not that the hotel won’t store your luggage – they’re welcoming – but going back to pick it up can be quite a hassle due to the location.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely magical. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, making us feel like characters in a fairy tale. The staff were kind and always ready to help. Our room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable.

PortugalThe room had AC but the cooling worked only on one side of the room and not the whole room, additionally the pictures are not clear on booking and the bathtub is good but there is no shower.
The location has some amazing views, the spa has good massage facilities, the staff is cheerful and energetic to keep you engaged and entertained through your stay.

United KingdomThe hotel is beautiful and calm with a lovely pool and views of the gardens and the sea in the distance. The staff did everything they could to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The food was excellent - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. The kitchen accommodated my nut allergy with adjustments to the menus. The room was comfortable and calm.

United KingdomThe only thing we didn’t so much enjoy is perhaps the intimate size — most notably by the pool, with the sunbeds and bar area all in a close proximity with one another — meant that if a family with kids were nearby, there was possibly a lot of noise (particularly from the little ones 😂) to have to endure. It is possibly not so kid friendly.
My wife and I thought it was so exceptional that we booked an extra night during our stay. We loved how serene the location felt, nestled into the hills surrounded by luscious nature with an incredible view of the coast. The facilities — the rooms, the hotel exterior and interior, the restaurant, the pool and bar area — were so classy and sophisticated, but married with a rustic antiquity that screams Andalusia. We just loved how charming it was and how relaxed it made us feel. But the staff were even better. Everyone was so attentive, so relaxed and approachable. They made us feel at home at all times, and helped us out with anything request big or small. We ate at the restaurant several times — every morning for breakfast, and most evenings for dinner — as well as the bar area for lunch every day. There wasn’t an extensive list of options, especially in the evening where it was essentially a set menu with a couple of options for each course, but we preferred that as it almost felt as if you were visiting a local family who were providing their local cuisine. The food was amazing, so well presented, and even better to taste. We truly loved eating everything there! And they also offered other luxuries like massages etc. we did yoga with a fantastic yoga instructor a couple of mornings, and honestly feel this slight void in not being able to start every day with that. It was incredibly enjoyable! We also arrived by car, and the nature of the property allowed such ease of access to unload our mounds of luggage, and had a space barely ten paces away from reception for the duration of our stay.

SwitzerlandReception closes at 5pm. However across the staff (eg at the pool, bar, restaurant), someone will be there to help till about 23:30 (at least during our stay). Also heads up, there may be some upgrade/renovations coming over the winter period (shouldn’t interrupt most visitors)
Absolutely beautiful and well kept property, pool is great (and heated) with nice pool bar, stunning views. The staff did absolutely everything they could for us, including to clean some baby items. We felt so welcome, relaxed and comfortable in this little paradise.

RomaniaOur stay at Casa Blu was a dream come true. Set amidst the rolling hills of Mijas, this Andalusian boutique hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene ambiance and exquisite design and gardens. The hotel’s architecture combines traditional Andalusian charm with modern elegance, evident in every corner. The tranquil gardens are dotted with olive trees, palm trees, and flowering plants, creating a lush oasis. We loved walking through the grounds, discovering charming details like the koi pond and the wall of lanterns that add a magical touch to the outdoor spaces. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail that makes you feel at home. The comfort of the interiors is matched only by the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, which are especially breathtaking at night when the lights of Mijas twinkle in the distance, creating a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast at Casa Blu was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious options. We enjoyed our meals in the covered terrace, surrounded by greenery and the sound of birds. The selection of juices, fruits, cheeses, and freshly baked goods set us up perfectly for the day ahead. One of the unique aspects of Casa Blu is its numerous cozy spots to relax. Whether it’s lounging by the fountain in the courtyard, reading a book in the elegantly furnished living room, or simply soaking up the sun by the pool, there’s always a place that feels like your own personal sanctuary. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service that made our stay even more enjoyable. Their local knowledge and willingness to help with anything we needed made us feel like valued guests. Tips: if you have large luggage, order the Uber/Bolt to pick you up/drop you off by Reception, not at the gate 🫶🏻 Otherwise, it’s a pleasure to walk through the garden…🥰
