There is no fridge in the room, but not so much of an issue. Also, don't use the hotel address on sat nav. Go for a car park on the edge and get a taxi in.

It is a simple boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Cool, quiet and comfortable it was exactly what we wanted as a base for exploring the place. And Toledo is an amazing place.

A superb historic building only a few steps from the Cathedral, retaining the feeling of the historic. family home it has been for centuries. The owner and staff were hugely helpful and breakfast was a great start to our day. We were able to park our car inside the property which was a real bonus as parking in Central Toledo is limited. Although we were in the centre it was not excessively noisy at night as bars appear to be on the other side of the cathedral (which was definitely worth the visit).

We had a few issues with water supply- we think there were water restrictions at night, as there was no water to our room at night time.

Great location and such a beautiful building, with attentive staff and lovely breakfast each morning. We walked everywhere around Toledo from the accommodation.

The parking space was extremely difficult to use due to the size of the hire car (Mercedes Benz C300). A smart car or similar shouldn’t have an issue parking.

Shower was complicated and we needed to call for help to turn it off!! Very speedily dealt with. Instructions would greatly help future guests. No bin in room, hooks for towels would be handy. Would prefer door to bathroom

No signage so difficult to find.

Owner was very nice and attentive. It was difficult to find but a hidden gem. It is more like several apartments. Not a hotel type. But once used to the set up it was very enjoyable. And the help was excellent. Very helpful. Breakfast great. Location couldn’t have been greater

We felt the bathroom needs some improvements, the shower sprayed outwards and wasn’t adjustable. The shower rail held up by string.

Traditional Spanish property very attractive , very comfortable bed. Plenty of food for breakfast. Fabulous location.

Magical place in the heart of Toledo, very special experience, maybe I come back one day

The drive up was very narrow in places but we made it without damaging the car, although we noticed many of the local cars had numerous scrapes !! I suspect there’s an easier route….

The location was exceptional, across the road from the Cathedral in this magnificent city. The owner met us, showed us around and kindly led me to the nearby carpark (and gave me her space !). The building is a 9th century Moorish riad, beautifully modernised with great style and panache - so interesting. Our rooms were terrific and the breakfast was superb.

Breakfast could have been a little more varied. Yoghurt and croissant maybe?? The reception area wasn't staffed which is fine it's a small hotel but was always in the dark so not very inviting. We put the lights on and such an interesting corner of the hotel! Books everywhere!! Loved it. And the pillows......not great I'm afraid but everyone likes different. I'm not a fan of the Concrete block topped with a soft one!!! Bring your own tbags- Spain isn't a tea loving country but I hate coffee!!!!

Loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Quirky and unique. Spacious room and down a quiet side street. Nice seating area in the enclosed garden. Brilliant location with a wonderful tapas bar/restaurant round the corner. (Botero). Decor was beautiful, especially in breakfast room - So colourful, with a lovely lady serving. A lot of thought has obviously gone into making it a calming space and has well and truly achieved one. We arrived by bus, got a taxi to hotel, walked back to bus station. Very easy.

Confusing entryway. Had to buzz to get in. Didn’t know how to find it connect staff. But once we found them they were super nice and helpful.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

On the outside there is a sign saying this is a 2* pension, but inside it’s like a 5• boutique hotel. Beautiful interior courtyard (the photo on booking.com does not lie) and our rooms were similarly packed with period furniture and antiques. The owners have great taste (and still live on the upper floors, we understand, although we did not meet them). The bedroom was huge and the bathroom even larger - tiled bath as large as a jacuzzi, twin shower room (yes, showers for two people) and enough wardrobe and storage space for a family of six. Breakfast was cooked to order by charming staff in yet another beautifully decorated room off the courtyard. The location was great, just 30m from the cathedral entrance, but very quiet at night - we slept very soundly in the large comfortable bed. Perfect for a honeymoon, perfect for any holiday where you want peace in a beautiful setting.
