Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWe are a family of four walking The Camino. We had an experience we will never forget. Beginning with our short ride to Casa Os Pradas …Theresa, the host picked us up in town and drove us to the lovely Casa which was a two story house. it was fresh and stocked with so many treats including cheese , fruit , breakfast supplies, coffee … and so much more. We had our own house! The surrounding area was peaceful and beautiful. Theresa gave us the option of being dropped off at Samas right on the Camino. We were so happy to discover this wonderful village. words cannot express what a wonderful memory we have made at Theresa’s beautiful home. we feel so fortunate and hope to return ❤️

United StatesIt is off the way but well worth it
This is NOT on the way but it is one of the best places to stay while on the Camino. When you get into town you make a call or use WhatsApp to contact the owner and they come and get you. You are about 5 k out of town and it is the best. It is quiet. It has laundry and lots of room to spread out. You tell the owner when you want to start walking and they will deliver you back to the trail. Pro tip: you need to either eat before you go to the place or get food to cook I love this place

United StatesThis property may be a little out of the way of you are doing the Camino. But it is so worth it. Teresa will come pick you up. The setting is unmatched in a beautiful little farm area outside of Triacastela. The home has everything, a full kitchen. Rooms bathrooms living area tvs just all of the modern conveniences. Teresa does tell you to eat before you come out, but with a full kitchen you can go to the store and make yourself a beautiful dinner. She does provide many things for food too. This place is just lovely. I highly recommend.

CanadaThere is nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.
This was the best stay we had on our entire 33 days on Camino Frances. Teressa was an absolutely amazing host. We got a little guided tour when Teressa picked us up from Triacastela and Teressa gave us recommendations in Sarria and Santiago when dropping us off the next morning. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped with everything we need (and we were able to do laundry), and we had the most relaxing and hearty breakfast. We really wished we could stay longer and would definitely come back to stay. Thank you Teressa!

AustraliaEverything was great.
Teresa was a wonderful host and picked us up from finishing our days walking on the Camino in Triacastela. Her accommodation is luxurious, with a bountiful selection of food for breakfast. The location was very peaceful overlooking the mountains. We felt very comfortable and had use of a washing machine which was a luxury after doing 10 days on the Camino.

United StatesWe loved everything !
While hiking the Camino Santiago, we recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming country house nestled in the mountains, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our lovely hostess Teresa, who exuded a genuine passion for her town and its surroundings. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she took the time to give us a delightful tour of the area, sharing fascinating stories and hidden gems that truly showcased the beauty and culture of the region. The lodging itself was a cozy retreat, with a well-stocked kitchen, even fresh local bread, specialty cheese and regional wine. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect sanctuary for restful nights after our daily adventures. Overall, this country house is a fantastic escape for anyone looking to connect with nature and experience warm hospitality. I can't recommend it enough!

I love everything about it. This property was just outstanding. The place was the best in our travels through Spain. It was modern with nice design. Beautiful country setting just outside of Tricastella. Theresa, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. She is willing to pick you up on the Camino, take you to dinner in town, etc. Breakfast choices were wonderful. Her home is just across the street from this property. United StatesCan't imagine what could have made the stay better.
This place is a dream! The cottage is much nicer than the pictures suggest and it was the perfect location for our explorations in the Os Ancares. We had some rain, and even one day of snow, but the cottage was a comfortable, cozy place to wait out the weather. Teresa is extremely kind and generous; she left us fresh local cheese, a loaf of bread, wine, and fruit. The house was very clean, well-equipped, well-functioning, and not fussy. Our only regret was that it wasn't warm enough to sit outside on the patio--the view of the mountains and fields is stunning.

South AfricaI initially thought being nearly 4 km off the route would be a problem but it was actually a blessing in disguise.
Although the location was 3.8 km from the Camino route it was one of the best stays we had on our Camino. Teresa offered to pick us up in Triacastela but I was cycling and Anne was walking. We arrived earlier than anticipated and hiked to the property which is situated on farm land in the teeniest of villages 10 houses only). The building has been converted from an old farm house to a modern, tastefully renovated home. The property had all amenities, is private and quiet and set in the loveliest of rural farm land with views over the mountains in the distance and the farms close by. Teresa offered to take us to Triacastela to have dinner there and pick us up again but also gave us an option to buy local cheeses, iberico ham and wine from the region at cost. She supplied fresh bread, butter, jam, coffee, teas and hot chocolate as well as yoghurt, milk and other offerings. We opted for a feast at home and were happy to enjoy the peace and quiet. It really was a tranquil escape from the steadily increasing hustle and bustle of the Camino and allowed us to relax, meditate and be one with nature. To be honest, I so enjoyed this stay I want to go back for a longer period. Teresa helped us get our backpacks from Triacastela which we forwarded on Jacotrans, but which was left in a bar in Triacastela because Jacotrans does not veer of the “Way”, the Standard Camino route. She also helped to arrange transport for the backs on our departure date and dropped Anne and the bags off in Triacastela while I cycled the short distance. As a final farewell Teresa gave Anne a quick guided tour of Triacastela in her car and then sent us off with her best wishes for the rest of the Camino.

PolandTeresa is the best host I ever met during my camino. She is open, friendly and helpfull. The house is just amaizing, all details are well renovated. The house is 4 km away of Camino, however it is not a problem becouse I was driven to the house from Triacastela and than in the morning Teresa took me back to Camino. The fact that is away of Camino I actually concider as a positive thing becouse after a long day of walking all I needed was a peace and quiet place where I can relax just on my own.
